50 plus yeas of independence and Somalia is a Ugandan protectorate controlled defacto wise by general akuna matata and all SOMALILAND has is the last 20 years of independence reason would state we cut our losses and move on because unification was a disaster.

26 june was about British leaving and Somali ruling themselves. British are still gone and Somalis are trying to rule themselves. Why do you need to inject General Akuna Matata in to this?

Because general Akuna matata is the legacy of 50 plus years of indepedence. Insanity is doing the same thing over and over again and expecting a different result Einstein once said. Learn from mistakes and move on if we can't live together we are better apart and the fruits of that theory is on the ground.

lool is this the depths of hysteria affecting our northern brothers? the ugandans and amisom are fulfilling their international mandate, and we wish them all the best to the end of their mandate.

it would behove our noethern brothers to use other tactics to get their case across.....I mean if 20years of pointing at the carnage of the civil war did not help, how will criticising a rebuilding capital under the umbrella of an AU mandated force help?

The real hysteria are those who think SOMALILAND will actually be forced into union. With or without recognition the train has left the station

26 June was Somaliland independence day from Great Britain, and the day we started the process to expose Somalinimo and Somaliweyn to the Somalians. They still struggle to understand what Somalinimo is till this day. 18 May was when we had enough of them and Somaliland restored its statehood, to exist as the Republic of Somaliland. While Somalia decided to exist as a country loosely colonized by Kenya Uganda Ethiopia Burundi And Nigeria.
