Tallaabo Posted February 15, 2013 Recently there was a huge tug-of-war in Hargeisa between the Salafis on the one hand trying to convince the public that celebrating the Mawliid (prophet Mohammed's [pbuh] birthday) is a bidca which leads one to the hell fire, and the Sufis on the other coaxing the masses to believe that prophet (pbuh) should be venerated with their distinctive traditional chants.
