Somalis never learn from the past! Anyone who is dreaming his kinsmen/tribe with the support of kenyans will benefit from this change of hands is daydreamer, BIG time. Let the people of this region sit and decide their future alone on their own without kenya.

One thing is for sure yaa Allamagan, your clan has no stake in Kismayo. The sooner your clan understands that, the better. Gedo is the place! : )

The President is doing the right thing, we do not need a potential secessionist state - influenced heavily by a neighbour - forming in the South, where certain clans 'don't have a stake' in a particular Somali city full of expensive prewar governmental infrastructure that belongs to the republic and the people of Somalia as a whole. Don't get it twisted, President Hassan has the power to make the Kenyan presence illegitimate, and force their withdrawal, this is not the TFG, this is a permanent government and the President is forward-thinking. If a state is to be formed in that region, it should be done in the capital and with fresh faces,

This is also another good example why the President should immediately sign the Turkish military agreement and equip the military with heavy hardware.

Zack, Kismaayo is the capital of Jubbooyinka and Gedo. It is for all the inhabitants of the three regions plus all other Somalis to share. Bal be a good host (pun intended :D )

The president is right. The Kenyans, Faarax Macalin and Yuusuf Xaaji should mind their own business. Affey is welcome though ;):D

Well said Chimera. The Navy should be second only to the army. We need to secure our territorial waters and chase the Kenyan fleet back to Mombasa.

Lol@the president has the power to make Kenya's presence illegitimate. Kenya is part of AMISOM. AMISOM keeps the guys behind secure.

Haatu, :D correction: Kismayu is the capital for Afmadow, Jamaame, Xagar, and Badhaadhe. Anybody that hails from these areas (regardless of their clan) has a say.

Gen C/ Qaadir Sh Cali Diini, Gen Dhegabadan iyo Wasiirka G"diga Xuseen Ciarab, oo ka baraandegayo magaalada Kismaayo ciidamo aan ka aheyn kuwa isbaheeysiga sidii lagu wareejini lahaa

Gen__Diini_iyo_dhegabadan.jpg

Waraaka ka imaanaya magaalada Muqdisho ayaa sheegayaan in saraakiisha ugu sareeyso ciidamada xooga dalka Somaliya ay ilaa iyo daraad ay ku mashquulsan yihiin qorshihii looga wareejini lahaa gacan ku haaynta magaalada Kismaayo ciidamada huwanta ee ka xoreeyay inta badan gobolka Jubada Hoose xoogagii Al Shabaab ee mudada badan halkaasi maamullaayay.

Waraarka ayaa tibaaxinayaan in Gen C/qaadir Sh Cali Diini, Gen C/kariin Yusuf Aadan (Dhegabadan) iyo wasiirka Gaashaandhiga dowladii uu xiligeedu dhamaaday Xuseen Carab, ay siweyn ugu mashquulsan yihiin wixii laga yeeli lahaa ciidamada huwanta iyo cida sugeeyso amaanka magaalada Kismaayo oo ay xaleeytow ka ceeyriyeen ciimada Kenya ee Amison iyo kuwa Somalida ah ee taabacsan maamulaka gobolada Jubooyinka iyo Gedo.

Waxaa saak kula hadlay magaalada Muqdisho saxaafada Gen C/kariin Yusuf Aadan (Dhegabadan) waxuuna sheegay in ay ciidamada huwanta geli karan magaalada Kismaayo gudaheeda arintaas oo ka yaabisay shacabka Somaliyeed meel walbo oo ay joogaan.

Dhegabadan waxa uu kusaleeyay sababaha ciidamada huwanta ay ugu diidanyiin in ay galaan gudaha magaalada Kismaayo in ay tahay xeelad miliri waxuu yiray waxaa dhici kartaa in ay Al Shabaab meenooyin ku aseen dhulaka.

Cajiib: waxaa isweeydin leh meeqaa magaalo oo intii laga ceeriyay xoogaga Al Shabaab hadana ay gudaha u galeen ciidamadii ka ceeriyay maxaa wacay in la yiraado ciidamadii mudo sanad wax ka badan u soo dhamaanaayay qabsashada magaalada Kismaayo ma geli karaan gudaha magaaladii ay xoreyeen.

arintaas waa mid u baahan in dib looga fikiro macnahuna waa biyo dhul lagu arag lagana dhoor marna ma dhici karto in ay laga dhigo magaalada Kismaayo mid uu shaqsi walbo ka arimiyo.

Plenty of other countries could fill that void, Egypt has already volunteered, and the President has both the legitimacy and domestic mandate as a permanent representative to demand their withdrawal, and under international law they will be forced to accept. Remember Kenya's inclusion was solely because they made the error of thinking UN law was on their side, when it wasn't they claimed they were 'invited' by the transitional government, when that was contradicted by Sharif, they found themselves unwillingly rehatted into the AMISOM uniform.

Secondly, AMISOM is temporary, the fund for the reconstruction of the Somali Armed Forces is already being put in motion, better get used to the fact that the President will soon have around 40 thousand 'Alpha group' trained Somali soldiers under his command equipped with heavy hardware that no 'technical' operated by a clan-millitia will be able to withstand.
