Mr ambassador

why the new PM should be a northern ?

Recommended Posts

two major developments have occurred the past 4 months..

1- The talks started between Somaliland and the Somali government.

2- The transition ended.

To begin a new era of restoring peace, unity and prosperity of Somalia nothing would be a better starter than allocating the PM post for a northern politician and specifically the northwest (secessionist area).

This will be a sign of good intentions in the negotiations and a good point scored for the central govt. that it's INCLUSIVE at a time the international community got its eyes on the reconciliation/talks between the two parts.

It should also be noted that the new PM is better not be from the newly born state called Khatumo2 it's 1- a disputed region and divided politically. 2- not recognized by neither of it's neighbors SL and PL and selecting a PM from that region is like lighting the fuse of dynamites and it will obstruct two processes simultaneously.

a politician from the northwest is who we need to occupy that post.

we do not have quite many options on the table so the best names that qualify are:

1- ahmed Ismail Samatar.

2- Mohamed Abdulaahi Omaar.

Regards,

The ambassador of the good well.

According to the cursed formula of 4.5. The PM will come from the block because and rivalry is a factor to be considered and needs to be suppressed in the future.

Petty Somalis.

i agree with you 100%. or even any of the subclans of the 5th clan. that is real change mooge would support. the garbage about "don't give it to puntland" is not change. don't single out a group of somalis and take them out of running based on clan hatred. if you want change do something outside of the box .

The game is getting deeper and its no longer about the and are also in and one cannot even entertain the idea of SL coming to union at the same time excluding them from the game.

i see absolutely no difference between holding PM post the 4.5 doesn't say that, it only says 2 out of 3 top posts should not go to the same tribe. and honestly the only group that i think must be present at all cost in the game is H we will lose a lot less if they are in. but will all leave the same impact if excluded (under the current circumstances the talks and all).

Nonsesne. The PM if given to NWerner it will do nothing for the President. If he does not believe in the quota system that he was elected from then he should resign out of principle.

In an ideal world I would approve it.

Thats fine. They are important stakeholders in he country. The NW is too isolated from the heartlands and does not play a major role outside of Hargaysa..

Absolutely they are major stakeholders in both aswj the sufis that fought against Alshabaab in the middle regions when Farmaajo was the Prime Minister 70% of gedo was liberated the President wants to encourage that.

Again reer Gedo/Galgaduud and Juba regions are a force no doubt. Thus all this nonsense about NWesterners and the Irir talk is just ludicrous. They are also very much anti secession and would not allow Somalia to break apart much like their cousins...

But we are not talking about Somalia's break up or unity we are talking about who he will appoint the President of Somalia hassan sheikh. And who the next Prime Minister will be the President said that he will be focusing on security in Somalia. Now the north is pretty much peaceful galmudug and Puntland. He now needs massive support from the southern regions Galguduud gedo the Jubas remember he is combating Alshabab islamists. While still honoring the 4.5 power sharing formula so a prime minister from gedo and cabuudwaaq and Kismayo regions is the most suitable.

^^^Again we have no clue who the new PM will and from which region. However if it is as you say a person from the Gedo regions no doubt they will be tough on secessionists and thats a plus for me.:D
