Endorse =/= passing :D

 

President has no power passing law. However, he signs a legislation into law or can veto. The president is not the legislation branch of the government If he did, we would have a public option now.

 

Oba: Shariif has so many faces. Islamist Shariif fought against TFG using little school children under the pretext of Jihad and declared Ethiopia the enemy of the Islam and Somalia. Shariif changes faces and becomes a lapdog for Meles and powers that be to land the presidency. Sharif endorses warlordsm in the parliament to keep the presidency. Sharif now disses religion to get back to the presidential seat.

It is very clear that Sh. Cagmadhige has had brain transplant post ICU days explaining his new found wisdom. May the new, smarter Sh. Cagmadhige continue. Somalia and Somalis don't need a drawnout wrangling over the merits of Sharia vs Secularism. What Somalis need now more than anything is peace, law and order and modestly competent government that tends to the needs of long suffering Somalis.
