Abaaraha 80gii ka hor waa jireen. 1972 abaartii dabba-dheer abaartii u xumeyd aheyd. Abaaro kale oo badanna 1960's iyo ka hor waa dhici jireen. Infact, in 1800's xitaa abaaro waaweyn baa ka dhacay galbeedka Somalia oo sababay in dad badan usoo qaxaan dhinaca koonfur

Geedaha la gurayo ee dhuxusha laga dhigayo have an impact on it but it is very minimal. .

Tan kale dikes mala dhisi karo miyaa preventing fatahaado?

No one can afford desalination plants and you shouldn't expect irrigation to change anything since Ethiopia is putting up dams on its rivers, even the small ones like Omo_river, what makes you think Jubba and Shabelle will be spared?

These terrorists ruined Somalia.

Abaartii Dabadheer iyo dabagaaba never happened in Shabeellooyinka and Jubbooyinka, particularly Jubbada Dhexe. Abaaraha used to occur in desert and semi-desert lands. It was unheard of to happen in those mentioned gobollo. In fact, victims of those abaaro were settled in Shabeellooyinka iyo Jubbooyinka. Now the worst affected are, ironically, the best lands Soomaaliya can and could offer.

@ Somalia

Al Jazeera did a series on the controversy not too long ago and I remembered thinking to myself Somalia needs a desalination plant asap. The cost of the civil war and subsequent "battles" will become a test for us in the years to come.

MMA, you're very right on this. Dhulkaan looma nixin oo dadkii beeran jiray ama xoolaha ku daaqsan jiray waa laga xoogey kuwa aan lahaynbaa xoog ku gubey. Someone burns a mango tree when infact he can benefit from it for years to come by eating and selling.. Caqli aawey hee waa umad waalatey..

Khaliijku waxba kuma karsadaan marka laga reebo xoogaa mashwiyaad ah inta badan waxay u isticmaalaan shiisha lagu qaxweeyo, waana arin fool xun geedkaan harsan jirnay in tubaako lagu cabo

Somaaliya waxaa ku haray geedo yaroo qodax leh iyo dad qodax leh, markaan yar yarayn waan roob dooni jirnay inta looxa madaxa saarano, hadda ardadii dugsi quraanka madax qoribaa u saaran bal dadka ha la badbaadiyo si geeduhu u badbaadaan

Reer miyigii caanaha udgoon dhiisha ka shuban jiray ama cabi jiray caag aan gudihiisa la dhaqi karin baa nafi u gaysay xoolihii bac khafiif baa mindhicirka isaga duubtay, maanta markii roob da'o beri biyo ma leh dhulkaaba naga gaajo badan

Dhalinyaradeenii dagaalada ka nabad gashay oo dibadaha aaday waa kuwaas dumarka lugaha ka leefaya, soomaaliya allaha hadeeyo wax badab baa si ah,duco iyo dadaal baa nala faray
