North and South also differ on how time is read. Example: Labo saac subaxnimo in the South would be read as in Sideedda aroornimo in the north.

Fataal = Pimp in the north, where in the south (fataal = qofka ku ciyaara lacagta);)

Clours

Yellow = Huruudi.

Red = Casaan.

Brown = Bunni.

Gray = Basali.

Bulac = Qoroto.

Baar = Hudheel.

This is the funniest.

Hooyo = Islaanta.

(Gabadhayda) means my daughter in the south, but (Gabadhayda) means my wife in the north. ;)

Reer waqooyi never say islaanta, are you insane..

We say Hooyo Gacaliso, Hooyo macaan, etc

Caano sxb I have many reer waqooyi friends and I heard them using this term many times, and they always joke me and say "idinkuba waxaad dhahdaan Habartey" .

Maybe you are a reer waqooyi influenced by the Aboowe Abaayo culture of the south.;)
