How about some media/developmental focus on the old towns, fortresses and castles in Puntland that are currently decaying in the Somali sun instead of displaying a culture that is very much alive and under no threat of imminent extinction?

Just a suggestion.

Thats exactly what I was thinking about, Chimera. Few weeks ago the PL government decided to demolish a historic house near the old port of Bender Cassim; the only reason they removed this building was because Saracen needed to place some kind of facility there.

As I heard in rumours, the house was built by the Ottomans long, long ago.

I sometimes ask myself whether its the lack of proper education that made our old people some kind of muppets at best.
