If Sharif Farmaajo get an illegal extension: Puntland Should walk away

Recommended Posts

Duke is using the most pathetic way to protest against the possible postponement of the elections. We will leave you kulahaa, oo markii hore miyaad joogteen? Sii socda.. Salaama ka dheh.

Faroole is being told to attend these conferences, he is not being asked.

Having said, NO EFFING EXTENSIONS!

As dirty and disgusting Somali politics gets, no one should be giving another ultimatum. If PL were to give bad marks, I bet Faroole would be getting a failing grade. PL populace wouldn't hesitate a second to fire Faroole. This fool is eying to bring changes to TFG leadership when in fact he's failing to lead PL to peace and stability. What a shame.

What's his 15 with Farmaajo or Shariif?

Hold up, wait a minute. Now Zack brah, we aint discussing fairytales and imaginary admins. This isn’t Narnia with Ghandi in Nairobi daydreaming about becoming something. This is UN security council & the International Contact Group, discussing Somalia. Puntland and its leadership are invited to give their opinions and points of view. You and Narnia are a hopeless watching from a distance with glee, trying to second guess what’s taking place. If there is any extension, the current admin of the State as well as the one after this will have to boycott any such talk.

Now Faroole is playing hard ball, I already mentioned that it would be a folly to turn down the Mogadishu meeting. So far he agrees t o it.

There will be insha Allah ample time to discuss his performance, there will be no extensions for him either.

Dude you are giving yourself too much credit here, TFG doesn't care so much about Puntland right now, keeping puntland in the loop or out of the loop is not the biggest priority here. You need to understand that. The priority right now is to get the South out if the mess it is in. I just found it hilarious that you posted a hot air threat on SOL. No extension or we will walk away kulahaa well, walk away... Last I heard from Faroole he was claiming he didn't even recognize the TFG as a legitimate government. When did that change?

For you, it is one thing to oppose the extensions as a Somali citizen, it is another to threaten that your enclave would walk away if extensions do occur. Sheeko baraleey baa lagu dhahaa afka Somaliga.

Zack as I have told you before. You need to box in your own weight class. Narnia is not in the same league as Puntland. The TFG you talk about controls pockets of areas of Somalia with the help of 10,000 AMISOM troops. Puntland controls the largest, continues and undivided area in what is Somalia. Now back to the topic, Puntland should oppose any extension since its one of the only areas of Somalia that has real power, input and influence. That’s the reason why Ghandi was not invited anywhere and Puntland has attended now every major meeting regarding Somalia thus far. That’s why when Somalia is politically spoken about its Somaliland, Puntland and the South Central. Again stop trying to punch above your weight class lad. Puntland is not there because of the want of anyone but because it’s a real, Somali power. :D

Unless you are deaf and blind, you would've known that "_Puntland" has indeed walked away from the TFG and that had 0 effect. Not sure what has changed. Go walk away...

^^^lol. Since Puntland snubbed the TFG, there has been a change of US policy towards Somalia, a shift towards the Stabel states. There has also been more engagement by the international players who actually fund this TFG with Puntland. Now Puntland and its peoples priorities come from the state and we don’t need translations. Sharif Ahmed is telling people to reward him for having AMISOM fight to liberate his home base. Puntland is seeking development for its regions and for building on the gains that it has so far achieved.

Thus if there is an extension, the state will continue not to work with this entity and go it alone even more so than now. This aint no enclave son, this is a 1/3 of Somalia. Anyhow Faroole has so far done well.

Like I said. If there is an extension for Sharif Ahmed even for a month, Puntland State will not recognize the TFG as anything other than a faction. There needs to be no cutting of links as happened of late, since there will be no links.

^^^Puntland severed ties with the TFG, and it got many things, two track policy and invitation [shock of Sharif] to major meetings on Somalia.

Now Puntland will not even recognise this said government and put more pressure on its every single failures.
