Gueleh of Djibouti Speaks on Somaliland’s Election

Djibouti(Horn)-President Ismail Omer Gueleh of Djibouti had spoken on Somaliland election and he praised the manner in which the populace, political parties and National Electrol Commission conducted the proccess in a peacefull and stable situation.

 

 

 

Presiden Ismail’s Message of congratulations to newly elected President of Somaliland, Mr. Ahmed Mohamed Silanyo, he said, "Now you have every right to define and implement any projects that you consider useful to the promotion and development of your people.”

 

Mr. Ismail Omar Guelleh has also welcomed the calm and transparency that have characterized this election.

 

 

"For transparency and peacefulness of this election, Somaliland proves that democracy is rooted in her home and at the same time enhances the image of the entire Horn of Africa, too often associated with the chaos and political violence.” Ismail said in his congratulation letter.

 

Mr. Ismail Omar Guelleh wished good luck and finally full success to Mr. Silanyo in maintaining stability and order in Somaliland.

 

In his country President Ismail Omer Gueleh has made significant development in all aspects of live during the time he has been in the leadership of Djibouti and this has made Djibouti a country which can now be seen in the top list of the developing countries in Africa.
