Is Dhahar the new capital for Highland, or is it Badhan? Different information on different websites. How will Sanaag change? Two states or the name Sanaag is just changed to Highland.

wtf is wrong with them? highland is the name of the gaalo. plus badhan is the capital of haylaan im sure. if sanaag bari is from now on effectively haylaan, than the sanaag part of somaliland will be whats left of what was once known as sanaag.

 

cant they come up with better names, like maakhir, calmadow if they choose to abandon sanaag?

There's some confusion on the part of the Puntland sites over which city (Dhahar or Badhan) is the new Haylaan capital. So, Haylaan is essentially Eastern Sanaag? I understand breaking up Bari Region - with its overpopulation and way too many districts - but why rename Eastern Sanaag?

 

Worth to note the motion passed when 26 MPs voted 'YES' while 14 MPs kept quiet. How come there was only 40 MPs present (out of a possible 66) to vote on such an important motion? A lotta cleaning up gotta be done in this hand-picked regional Parliament.

The capital of Sanaag is Ceerigaabo.

Badhan, LasQorey, and Dhahar and CeelAfwayn are districts officials of Sanaag region.

You mean 8 regions? I am sticking to the origin. I don't think dividing regions into many parts is healthy.
