Sharif: I am a noble man, harassed by inferior people.

Recommended Posts

Eebow gurbood baa hadhiyo, gaban agoomeede

Eebow goonji weyn iyo qax bay, naga gullaafteene

Guullow ma helayaan waxay, nagu gubaayaane

Eebow waxay naga gogtaan, waa galoof olole

Eebow sidii guun haween, giidu waa aniye

Eebow nin goba baan ahoo, guni rifaysaaye

Eebow waxaa noo gurmaday, gaaya alifleeye

Ma garaysni Eebow waxaan, guufanneyska ahe

Eebow gabooddii dorraad, waan ka gara'layne

Eebow markaan geyllamey, guulmiyo biqiye

Eebow guddoonkii sharciga, gooye bahashiiye

Eebow anaa kugu garlee, guusha ha seejin.

Sayid Mohaded.

Oh God, only children and orphans are left.

Oh God, they have trampled our property and lawful rights.

But by God Victorious, they will not succeed in imposing their will upon us.

Oh God, the claims they make against us are empty which vessels are carried, thus holding it together.

Oh God, I am wailing like an old woman.

Oh God, I am a noble man, harassed by inferior people.

Oh God, the only ones who come to our rescue are riffraff.

Oh God, I cannot accept this oppression.

Oh God, I will take revenge for the aggression of the past.

Oh God, when I fight in earnest, they will retreat and become afraid.

Oh God, these animals have destroyed the rules of the Sharıfia.

Oh God, since I am on Your side, don’t deny me victory

Sayid Mohamed

What a disgraceful and shameless analogy. My former comrade, I know you're desperate, but even desperation should not force men, even those who are defeated, to stoop to these lows. Abtiyow, isku xishood and delete this thread.

You have the nerve to compare Sayyid Maxamed Xassan who was besieged, air-bombed, and machine-gunned by the British war machine to Shariif Al-Khabeeth ? The man who, at this very momement, is cowering behind the indiscriminate artillery bombardment of Ugandan baboons killing hundreds of Somalis. The man who sold Somali sea to Kenya to win the approval of Gaalo who installed him as the puppet-president. The man who rides inside Ugandan tanks every time he steps out of Villa Somalia ? The man who went before Meles Zenawi and promised to listen and obey ?

Sayyid-ka spent his entire life fighting Gaalo, whereas Shariif Al-Khabeeth has pledged his loyalty and fealty to them

Sayyid-ka was a Geesi Geesi dhalay who participated personally in countless battles, whereas Shariif Al-Khabeeth is a cowardly deserter who left slipped away in the middle of the night like a common theif and left his illustrious comrades to die of thirst and malaria.

Hadee sidaan kaa dhab'tahay: You have no shame. And per the Xadeeth, ithaa lam tastaxyi fasnac maa sh'it. So la yaab malahan inaa maanta gaalada iyo munaafiqeenta la bood'boodid oo safkooda iska xaadhirisid.

Paragon,

Sharif might not have said these verses for he may not even know them they exist but the tongue of the situation as it were says it for him. Sayid’s scourge of aggressor poem is the best literary means to describe and disclose the faults of these misguided youth.

Respect. We may differ vehemently in many areas, but at least you have the integrity to speak the truth.

This is what diffrentiates you from the other peacenik qowleysato who will lie with a straight face if they think that will further their cause.

Shariif Al-Khabeeth = Sayyyid-ka kulahaa. Waraa, waa indho-adayg oo gabasho lahayn.

I think Emperor got it right. Aweys fits the subject of Sayid's poem. Sharif is the besieged man whose situation utters these verses .

There is another poem by Sayid that fits very well nag-nagta Kashafa :D
