Mogadishu — The TFG forces of Darawish have replaced the former government soldiers in Ex-control Afgoi, a key checkpoint in the Somali capital Mogadishu, official told Shabelle radio on Monday.

Afrah Ali Afrah, head of operations of Darawish forces told Shabelle radio that some of their troops were deployed to Ex-control checkpoint where the former government soldiers took illegal money from the traffic traveling between Afgoi and Mogadishu.

He said that the replaced soldiers were deployed to another bases of the TFG in parts of the Somali capital Mogadishu.

"We shall not take any money from the people and also the traffic. We shall keep the security only." Ali said

There had been more government soldiers with heavily armed battle wagons that were firing bullets in each direction which people expressed concern on Monday morning. But all things returned calm as Darawish troops replaced the soldiers.

It is not known what the soldiers' replacement will change the security and clashes between the Islamist forces and government troops that often happens there in the capital.

Fabregas

Sayid Muhamad Abdullah and his dervishes were true thoroughbred Islamic Somali tribesmen of noble cushitic and Arabian origins. I think you should apologise for degrading them in the other thread. Oh, and the current militis calling themselves Dervishes are just false pretenders.
