its a done deal peps, the president, speaker of parliament, the majority of MPs and even the constitution are in agreement.

although the president can dismiss the entire cabinet, this consensus the preisdent is building in Baydhaba is an example of why i like this president. Had been salaat, he would have went through ten PMs by now.

"Who elects the PM? The MPs or the Ministers? If it is the MPs then, Ministers can resign all they want."

So far, only MPs can become ministers including the prime minister and president. So MPs include members of government and not only that, members of parliament that make it to the government are the most powerful or respected members of their clans and can sway their bloc in parliament. The president has been lobbying to change this law with little success but the NRC backed him and should their resultion be adopted, would require the parliament to change it so that non MPs could be selected to government.

If Geedi survives then he will have a chance to appoint anyone he wants.

However so far he seems reluctent to go the Parliment.

NN- is correct, the President has the power to sack the PM however this President is not happless A/qasin as mentioned before who within his first three years went through 3 PMinisters, destroyed the TNG cabinet, parliment and had no power oustide even his own house.

As for who elects the PM, the President chooses him and the Parliment either approves or disaproves.

Also last time if one remembers Geedi survived only because there was the armed courts to deal with and so on.
