Ii Cub Caliyow, Cirka Canabey,

Car waa maantaba, Car waa maantaba,

Caalihii ay Ceebtu Raacdaayeeeeey,

Anyone old enough to recall the lyrics of that famous song?

Till then,

JB,

Both variations are correct (cug/cub - regional, if you will, and it's easier for me to say the latter - sort of flows off the tongue unlike the former which requires a bit of an effort ;--)). Do you recall the rest of the song?

Always in the mood for a bit of footie mate,

Is that all?

These are just the 'hooris' lyrics mate,

There is a whole song by Waaberi band featuring Cigaal which is, if not mistaken, about 5 minutes long.

And btw, it is not 'caligii', it is 'caalihii' meaning 'caalle', get it?
