It is a war cabinet with the focus on the periphery rather than the centre, and with the periphery at ease, Deni is disposed at redirecting humpty dumpty, rebalancing the fulcrum against the illegitimate power-grab manoeuvering of HSM & Co, as they swim in their own faecal matter. Surely, you do not expect the supine SW folk to rise to the occasion, or the compromised A Madoobe in JL, or reer Hiiran on the cusp of dissipation, albeit are the ones, who will bear the brunt of it, when all is said and done. Besides the manufactured conflict on the onset, HSM's biggest allies are Bixiye & Co.

Makes sense that it’s “all hands on deck” for Puntland and to close the circle around focussing attention and putting counter weight to HSM. And even though other regions are not at the forefront of this power struggle, nevertheless Deni might want to seek and forge alliances with other regions and political players in the country.

Agreed, yet His natural allies are A Madoobe, the consummate dud and on his way out, and Laftagareen, a hostage in Baydhaba as he said as much in Garowe.

Surprisingly, Laftagareen speaks well with a good command of af Somali, and knows how to work the crowd, unlike MMA, who is woeful in af Somali, ya khasarah.
