Anyway, Mr. Sanders is not going anywhere. He was getting probably 25% of the vote while many moderates were splitting the vote among themselves. With the fake Buttigeg out and Kloubacher indorsing Joe Biden, Sanders won't be strong . 

In the south the democrats are more conservative than those in the north east. As the voting goes to south to Georgia, Texas, South Carolina and Alabama, a socialist like Bernie has no chance of winning.

Besides, America already have a populist president. People want normalcy and someone who would calm down things, and Kor Biden is that man.

If Sanders doesn't win Minnesota, it will show Ilhan offers little influence and will loose reelection herself.

Sad, but Ilhan is done.
Had she fought and compromised for the sake of Somali in particular and East Africa in general, she would have had a lot of chance for success.

Instead she was probably assigned or she became a fool and focused on issues that she cannot influence.

Now she has among Somalis, among Democrats, most republicans, Media....that really are out to get her.

The 5th congressional district in Minnesota is a save democratic seat. Certainly Ilhan Omar will face a tough primary from her own party. DEspite some missteps , I believe she could win the Somali vote . 

She is still has has a chance to repair some of the damages in her image. You do not need another Somali rookie in congress. Her name alone will carry her in the primary.
