Che, I am sure as hell that I am going to miss that "tablety-head-guy" by the name of Mr Gaas, if that is, as you say, he is done in for good in playing politics in Pirate-land, henceforth. And, presumably, he will then be dragging his sorry-sight of a shit-laden-corpulent-body back into that "lunatic asylum" in Up-State New-York in which he had "eloped" from it (once upon time ago) by way of "jumping-off-its-wall". Given that was how he originally came into the Somali political scene after he had legged it from that crazy-house he was previously holed-up in it. But still I must say for it's worth, lets hope, that, like a day follows a night, you lot will "select", once again, yet another sniffling coward or two. And these guys, of course, we in Somaliland can only hope to continue to play against them our "favorite sport" of chasing political ninnies of your kind. For we shall look forward to chase them, as usual, from pillar to post and back again. Hence, don't disappoint us, lads. For we are counting on you in here, mate. Miskiin-Macruuf-Aqiyaar 228 Posted January 4 Since the newly selected guddoomiyaha maamul goboleedka baarlamaanka is anti-Gaas, we can all assume Gaas daaqada ayuu saaranyahay and ain't coming back.
Che -Guevara 307 Posted January 4 I think that's safe bet.
maakhiri1 231 Posted January 4 Watch Diini, the new Speaker I believe with his team. Farmaajo consolidating power almost complete, once GAAS is defeated.

Farmaajo needs to concentrate defeating al-shabaab and removing the Amison. The only way the Federal government will have power over the regions is to share the aid that goes to Mogadishu only. The Turks spend 700 million in Mogadishu and lately the Qataris gave $200 million to the FG.
Che -Guevara 307 Posted January 5 Enow threw his support behind Ali Ise. And Ali Ise meets MPs from Sool and Buhoodle.

Che -Guevara 307 Posted January 5 They have 17 and with the support of Sanaag and Bari, both of which have never led Puntland, there is a chance for someone else.
Che -Guevara 307 Posted January 5 Here's the list. Sool/ Cayn have the most MPs after Bari. https://www.garoweonline.com/so/news/puntland/xildhibaanada-baarlmanka-cusub-ee-puntland-oo-lagu-dhawaaqey-liiska-magacyada

That means very likely for war in the north. Then while Farmaajo on war in north new problems come up in south. Same circle gets larger. Not good.
Holac 258 Posted January 6 This election has very little to do with Farmaajo. He may distribute Qatari money here and there to some candidates, but at the end of the day, Puntlanders have achieved great political maturity over the last 20 years that it is impossible for that region to become subservient to Mogadishu. If the allegations of meddling are true, I have no doubt Farmaajo is wasting his money.
