I got thinking about the perception of niqaabis after reading an article in the local paper earlier, I'll post the article later but first, I'd like to get your thinking on these images.

 

What are your perceptions of these women in niqaab or 'burka'? What words cross your mind as you look at each image? Does your perception of the veil change with the context, if so how?
