  1. As-Salaamu 'Alaykum... I have not heard anywhere regarding woman not being "allowed" to shave their arms and legs. Here is a Fatwa from the Permanent Committee for Islaamic Research and Fataawa on the Issue on the Issue of Woman removing facial hair and hair on their legs and arms. A Woman removing facial hair and hair from legs and arms - Shaykh 'Abdul 'Azeez Ibn Abdullaah Ibn Baaz, Shaykh 'Abdur-Razzaaq 'Afeefee, Shaykh 'Abdullaah Ibn Ghudayyaan From the Answer: "...the Messenger of Allaah (sal-Allaahu `alayhe wa sallam) cursed the one who removed the hair from the eyebrows as well as the one who allowed such hair to be removed. It is (however) permissible for a woman to remove facial hair as well as the hair from her legs and arms." and Allaah, the Most High knows best. As-Salaamu 'Alaykum
  2. As-Salaamu 'Alaykum... Firstly we should not be quick to jump to conclusions in matters of Takfir [Declaring someone to be a Kafir]. Secondly for those who want to understand this matter of Emaan, Takfeer, then they can refer to the articles on Salafi Publications[click on I am a Regular Visitor] under the section Manhaj -> Ruling other then by what Allaah has revealed and the articles on our site [ The Reign of Islaamic Da'wah ] under the section Manhaj -> Abandoning Innovation and its People -> The Fitnah of Takfeer Ruling other then by the Laws of Allaah - Shaykh 'Uthaymeen Insha Allaah, by going to these sites, and reading the articles, you might gain a better understanding regarding these issues, Insha Allaah And as Salafee Da'waah said: Kufr is of 2 types [not really there are more then 9 types of Kufr, but they kinda stem from these two types] Kufr 'Amilee [Kufr of Action] and Kufr It'qaad [Kufr of Belief], but something that was said wrong, is is that, you have to commit Kufr of Belief to be a Kafir, and this is incorrect. You will see Shaykh al-Albanee saying that the one who steps on the Quraan or curses Allaah [Kufr of Action], that is enough to point to his Disbelief, because his actions points to what is in his heart, and Shaykh al-Albanee is the one people call Murji'aah, Allaahu Musta'aan. Most of the Scholars agree that if someone replaces the Shariah totally with Man-Made Laws that they are a Kafir. You will find most Scholars agreeing on this, because this points to that in there heart they think what they are Ruling by is Better then the Hukm of Allaah, the Most High, but that is when they completely change the Shariah and implement the Laws of Man
  3. As-Salaamu 'Alaykum... This is a really useless "arguement" because some people even if you present them the truth, they will still not accept it because of thier desires, wa Allaahu Must'aan. It has already been discussed about this concept of Ad'Dawtus Salafiyyaah, but people seem to just want to oppose this concept because of Hawaa (deisre) Anyways, for further clarification on this issue, there is a book we sell at The Reign of Islaamic Daw'aah Center (T.R.O.I.D./Masjid al-Furqaan) by the title of Fundamentals of the Salafee Methodology [An Islaamic Manual for Reform] by The Muhaddith, The Allaamah, The Custodian of the Sunnah, Imaam Muhammad Nassirud-Deen al-Albaanee (d.1420H) When I have time, I will post what this Shaykh said about Ad'Dawtus Salafiyyaah, and calling oneselve "Salafee" As-Salaamu 'Alaykum
  4. As-Salaamu 'Alaykum.. Sister Sakina, brother Nur has requested from you more then once, to provide proof that Shaykh-ul-Islaam Ibn Taymiyyah said that Allaah, the Most High had physical limbs, yet because you only copy-and-paste your refutations, you do not have the proof to back what is in the article with clear proof from the Shaykh's articles/books. So either bring proof that Ibn Taymiyyah said Allaah, the Most High had "physical limbs" or erase that from your post. Copying and Pasting long, tedious articles, when the person "pasting" these articles does not even know the proof for what is being said therein, does not amount to knowledge and is useless in the first place, cause the "paster" can not defend what is being "Pasted". So, Insha 'Allaah, provide the proof that Brother Nur asked for... As-Salaamu 'Alaykum
  5. As-Salaamu 'Alaykum.. I would say, that Converts/Reverts make some of the best Muslims that I personally know. As of right now, I am in Toronto, because this Daw'aah Center (The Reign of Islaamic Daw'aah/ Masjid Furqan) is having a speaker from USA by the name of Aboo Tasneem Dawood Adeeb So, right now I am staying at a Friends apartment, and everyone there (2 visiters, and the two tenants) are Reverts/Converts, and Wallaahi their Akhlaq is amazing, their deen is amazing, how much they cling to the Qur'aan and Sunnah and the way of the Salaf-us-Saalih, and how much they love the Scholars...Masha Allaah Just 30 mins ago, one of the brothers fell asleep while studying/reading Ibn Kathir's Tafseer, Masha Allaah, then he woke up and continued reading...Masha Allaah, these converts really understand and apply Tawheed, if you ask one of these people that I am staying with the proofs of Tawheed, then they can tell you with ease, Masha Allaah A lot of these converts are attending Madinah Univeristy, and the camp in Yemen run by Shaykh Yayha Al-Hajoree, a student of Shaykh Muqbil, May Allaah be please with them All. They, the brothers that I am staying with, are always in thobe/khamis, and the ones that I know that are married..(funny enough, most of the converts I know are married to Somalee Sisters) their wives where the Niqaab/face veil..Masha Allaah Suprisingly Enough, most of them are upon the correct Aqeedah, and this is the way of Ashaabul-Hadeeth..because these Converts, love Islaam, and Insha Allaah want the Truth, so they come to pure Islaam that is free of Innovation, and stick to the Ulama/Scholars of Islaam. Just look at the Convert Sisters, most of them end up covering their face, Wa'lhumdulilaah. So I personally think one should not marry someone based on Colour but based on deen, but if two sisters/brothers are equal and deen, then go marry the one you prefer because of skin colour/beauty..etc As-Salaamu 'Alaykum
  6. As-Salaamu 'Alaykum.. Jezakum Allaahu Khayr for posting the biography of al-'Allamaah Muhammad ibn 'Abdillaah As-Sumaalee. Wallaahi, just by looking at his students, you can tell that this man was a Scholar from Ahlus-Sunnah. Just the names..Masha Allaah! al-'Allamaah Rabee' ibn Hadee al-Madkhalee, and who can forget the Muhaddith of Yemen, Ash-Shaykh Muqbil ibn Haadee al-Waadi'ee..(May Allaah have Mercy on Him) Sadly, not that many Somalee's know this Shaykh, a Scholar from their people, a Scholar from Ahlus-Sunnah...Masha Allaah May Allaah, the Most High, make more people like him traverse this Earth, Insha Allaah..Ameen As-Salaamu Alaykum
  7. As-Salaamu Alaykum.. Alle-ubaahne, did you actually read my whole post, or did you just skim through it. It is very, very clear from my post, that I am not those who side with the French Government. By the Way, who here has openly sided with the French Government against the Muslims through words they have typed...Can you name someone and provide a Quote from this Thread??? If not, then please drop this.."Everyone is against me cause I hate the Kuffaar" act. Jezakum Allaahu Khayr.. As-Salaamu Alaykum
  8. As-Salaamu 'Alaykum Wa Rahmatullaahi Wa Barrakatuhu Alle-ubaahne, Wallaahi we have to be careful with what we say, and extra careful when talking about the Deen of Allaah, the Most High. Talking out of desires, and legislating Rules in Allaah's Religion, can be Kufr, because who makes the laws in Allaah's Religion??..Do I? Do You?!?..No, we follow Islaam as taught by the Prophet Muhammad..(Sallallahu Alayhee Was Sallaam) and understood by the Salaf-us-Saalih. We as Muslims, should not take our Religion lightly, taking this and that from anyone who quotes an Ayaah of Qur'aan or some A'Hadeeth. Subhan Allaah, did not Allaah, the Most High say in the Qur'aan: " O you who believe, do as you say " So Allaah, the Majestic is telling the Believers that when they give advice, that they should do that which is contained in the advice..but Subhan Allaah, what you say and what you do are two different matters...Sadly!! Please, go and take your hijaab first, then express your views politely, ok. and Language is never knowledge. Get that streight in your mind. OK Just these to statements are enough. Look at the first one that I quoted, you ask the Sister to express her views "politely" and yet 5-10 words before that you are bashing her in public. Wallaahi this is wrong, the only time that bashing or refutation can be done in public is when it is done to unveil Innovation or the People of Innovation which may Harm other Muslims in there most Sacred place, their Religion. There is a way to debate, Allaah, the Most High said: " Invite to the way of your Lord with Wisdom " Insha Allaah, you will reflect on what I have said, Insha Allaah Secondly, you continued by saying.. By the way, things were all jokes. Ok The Prophet..(Sallallahu Alayhee Was Salaam) said: "I guarantee a House in Jennah to three ..(one of them being him) who gives up lying while joking. There is a known rule that one of the things that Nullifies ones Islaam is Mocking the Religion. The evidence for this is found in the Statement of Allah the Most High: "And if you were to ask them, they would say: 'Surely we were only jesting and playing.' Say: 'Was it Allah, His Verses,or His Messenger you were mocking? Make no mistake,Verily you have disbelieved after your belief.' " The event that led to the revelation of this Verse was what happened with a group of people who were with the Messenger (Sallallahu Alayhee Was Sallaam) during the Battle of Tabook. They were Muslims. During a gathering they began to say, "We have not seen the likes these reciters of ours, the most untruthful tongues, the greediest stomachs, the most cowardly in the face of the enemy…" They were referring to the Messenger of Allah (Sallallahu Alayhee Was Sallaam) and his Companions. Amongst them was a young man from the Companions who became enraged at this speech and went to convey what this group was saying to the Messenger of Allah (Sallallahu Alayhee Was Sallaam). He found that the revelation had preceded him (in informing the Messenger). So then the group came apologizing once they heard that the Messenger had become aware of what happened in their gathering. One of them was hanging on to the front harness of the Prophet's she-camel while he (Sallallahu Alayhee Was Sallaam) was riding it, saying, "O Messenger of Allah! We were just talking loosely to help pass the time during the journey! We did not intend mockery, rather we only intended to joke." The Messenger (Sallallahu Alayhee Was Sallaam) would not even look at him, he only recited upon him this Verse: "And if you were to ask them, they would say: 'Surely we were only jesting and playing.' Say: 'Was it Allah, His Verses,or His Messenger you were mocking? Make no mistake, verily you have disbelieved after your belief.' " Notice His Statement, "Verily you have disbelieved after your belief." This proves that before they had uttered words (of mockery) they were Muslims, and that when they uttered them they apostated from Islam, even though they were saying that it was a joke. This is because the affairs of the Religion are not to be played with, so Allah had declared them to be disbelievers after their faith. We ask Allah for safety. So from the above we see how careful we have to be when talking about Allaah's, The Most High's Religion look my little sister, there is a hadeeth that says, "whoever pretends people in their manners (language, culture, behaviour and so forth) is one of them". Or something in the very essence of this statement, I believe. Alhumdulilaah, you are correct in this or at least very close..The Statements of the Prophet..(Sallallahu Alayhee Was Salaam) are very many, in which he said: " Whoever takes the similitude (in manners) of a certain people becomes one of them" We are ordered to be different from the Kuffar when Allaah, the Most High says: " Has not the time come for the hearts of those who believe (in the Oneness of Allaah: Tawheed) to be affected by Allaah's Reminder of the truth, lest they become as those who received the Scripture (The Torah and The Gospel) before (i.e Jesus) and the term was prolonged for them so their hearts were hardened? And many of many of them Faasiqun (rebellious, disobedient to Allaah). In the above Ayaah, the text signifying: "lest they become as those who received the Scriptures." in an absolute prohibition against imitating them. In his Tafseer, Ibn Katheer said: "That is why Allaah forbade the believers from imitating them in any basic or minor matter." Part of the goals and objectives established by the Noble Qur'aan detailed and explained by Allaah's Messenger..(Sallallahu Alayhee Was Salaam) is to abandon the resemblance of the Kuffaar in their deeds, sayings, and desires. Allaah's Messenger..(Sallallahu Alayhee Was Salaam) manifested these objectives in many of the branches of the Sharee'ah like Salaat, funerals, fasting, diet, dressing, etiquette's and manners, habits, etc. Emphasizing this distinction, the Prophet..(Sallallahu Alayhee Was Salaam) said: "Whoever acts according to a Sunnah (way) other than out Sunnah is not from us." The Jews in Madeenah realized these objectives and felt that the Prophet..(Sallallahu Alayhee Was Salaam) purposely intended to be different from them in all affairs even the most private ones. They commented: "This man (i.e Muhammad..{Sallallahu Alayhee Was Salaam}) does not want to leave anything we do without opposing us in it." However, I think, there is a Muslim language, and Gaalo language. That can be true, cause 90% of all Arabs are Muslims but they only make up about 10% of the Muslim Population, so you can say whatever language they speak in Indonesia, Afganistan, Pakistan is the "Muslim Language" It is almost agreed that English is the basic Kafir Language, but who knows, this could change anyday. The Majority could become Muslim, and Allaah knows best.. Lastly we should watch what we say, and not speak in Matters that we have no knowledge, meaning we should not speak for the sake of speaking. As-Salaamu Alaykum
  9. As-Salaamu Alaykum.. yet another salafi fatwa and wahabi/salafi madhab Could you please tell me how the above group "Salafee/Wahabee" is different from your groups beliefs..which you label below as: general sunni source I await your answer, cause I am confused.. As-Salaamu Alaykum
  10. As-Salaamu Alaykum.. Saaxib, did you understand what I said, please don't get me wrong. I hate the Kuffaar, I hate those whom Allaah, the Most High hates...Walaa wal Baraa Having a girl that is not covered as a Avatar, does that reach the level of Innovation, cause as far as I know, it doesn't. Did you forget the verse of Allah which says "the prophet of Allah and his companions were hard on disbelievers (as well as their likes) but merciful to each other..." Does it say in this verse to be harsh on the Muslims, when thier sin does not reach the level of Innovation, and by the way we are not harsh on all Innovaters, cause some of the Innovaters are ignorant of there Innovation. I am not watering down Islaam, I know that Arabic is the Language to know, and ect.. Many Islamic Sheikhs have accomplished many things in the west without even knowing anything about the host country's culture, language and so forth You said that, and Femmale Fatale replied with: Care to tell me how? Oh wait let me see. They had psychic abliities and transported the message via the mind? See, Sister Female Fatale, there are many, many Shayukh that have affected the Muslims in the west, without even knowing English, or French To name a few: Shaykh Muhammad Nassir-us-Deen al-Albaanee, Shaykh Abdul'Aziz bin Baz, Shaykh Uthaymeen, Shaykh Fowzaan, Shaykh Muqbil, May Allaah, the Most High have Mercy on all of them, and I could go on and on with names of Ulaama that benefited the non-Arabic speaking Ummaah Shaykh Abdul'Aziz bin Baz used to give lectures in Arabic and they used to be translated via telephone. Till this days many books from al-Albaanee, Uthaymeen, and Bin Baz, have been translated and provide a great amount of benefit to the English/French speaking Muslim, and All praise is to Allaah the Most High. Even now as we speak/type, their students are giving Daw'aah, their Arabic Speaking students are giving tele-links, and on-and-on. So knowledge of the land in which you are giving Daw'aah is not that important, but would be nice. Anyways, I hope you understand Alle-ubaahne that we should be gentle with the Muslims.. As-Salaamu Alaykum
  11. As-Salaamu Alaykum... Subhan Allaah, "Alle-ubaahne", harshness does not get you anything, nor get you anywhere. If you disagree with something, then give Advice in private, and if done in public, then is should be done in a gentle manner. Muhammad (Sallallahu Alayhee Was Salaam) said: "Kindess is not taken out of anything except that it makes it ugly, and Kindness is not put in anything except that it beautifies it" Subhan Allaah, so comments like the one quoted below is not something that is likely to earn the pleasure of Allaah, rather it could earn punishment in this life and in the hereafter, and Allaah, the Most High knoes best. Originally posted by Alle-ubaahne: xu, You agree with the Gaalo, right? Yeah, I could see that from your unveiled hair. Please, go and take your hijaab first, then express your views politely, ok. I used to be like this, Wallaahi, just straight out bashing, and deep down we all want to do that. We see someone smoking/drinking/flirting with the opposite sex, and then we want to slam them with Hadeeth and Qur'aan. Sadly it backfires more often then not. It might work with close friends, but someone you only know off a Message Board, then I doubt it. But I learnt, that when I was harsh, they hated me, and in turn, they turned thier back to the truth. So when I was gentle afterwards, they still had a grudge, and hated me, and would not listen to even an atoms weight of what I would have to say. Secondly, when can we be harsh, the only time I know is when communicating with Ahlul-Bid'aah or the people of Bid'aah, Dalaalah and Hawaa. Thats the only time you can be harsh, and correct me if I am wrong, cause there are many stories of the Sahaba being very harsh to the Innovaters, but to normal muslims, who makes mistakes or sins, and what about if they are ignorant of what they are doing wrong. If you bash them, even while they don't know what they are doing is wrong does it get you anywhere..??? Our job as muslims, and if you are a Religious one, is to help other people, other muslims come back to Allaah, the Most High. Anyways, I hope I have not said anything wrong... As-Salaamu Alaykum
