  1. Jafarel, There is a diffrence between ball to hand and hand ball. I hope that clarifies your point. :D

187, One good performance from a player doesn't make him a great player.

Socod fly the blue flag sxb, I agree with you ;)

  2. ^^^I just realised that you scored the last 3 goals after my best player was red carded. I blame the Ref for that, he shouldnt have sent him to the stands. That changed the whole game and made you win, otherwise it would have been a draw (1-1) but its all good. I am going to take the defeat as a pro and would certainly bounce back by dismissing Waxaro. :D

PS...We are going to appeal against that decision.

  3. Let the truth be told; Arsenal deserved their to win that match and they should have scored at least two more goals.

They had a team spirit, passed the ball well and dominated the match. They looked like they were the home team. Well done to them but still their place in the next round is not yet guaranteed, so Mr 187, calm down :D

Glad to see Liverpool lost. Their Manager was going out like they were going to retain the cup, Ohhh Please!!

Sincere you are not the only one Sxb, my dream of finishing the top is over, out of the window!

Well done 187, You deserved it in deed.

WinningEleven also lost to Orange Soup. Well done Orange!

I lost another important game yesterday, lost to 187 today; I hope this is not the start of a disappointing week bearing in mind that Barca game aint that far.

  5. Imagine if they all played for their respective countries. I tell you, DR Congo would be a forced to be reckoned with the likes of Luyindula

Congo has produced so many players, I hope they should have played for their home country.

Bob, I also have some doubts of Laurent Robert to be from Africa but one thing that would make me change my mind is his attitude. Don't ask me about this though. :D

Liban the Man, welcome to the sports page ;)

  6. Ws wr wb@ Bob. Am still your brother man, lets forget Chelsea for one second. :D How you doing? Good to see you back.

On the third time, Samuel Eto has been voted African Player of the Year. Drogba came second and Jay Jay Okacha was third. Do yall think they deserve those positions? What are you views of how this awards are voted?

    Peace

  7. Chelsea FC Champions of SOL Football League

Thanx Winning11! My team is still in the process of establishing that long awaited victory. :D

As for beating up 187; I won the last game I played against him and if I get a draw now, that would be a magnificent result.

I am done with the Lions this season, I snatched 6 points from him, wicked! ;)

I see my freind Northerner's Liverpool is slowly climbing up, well done sxb.

Nafta's Orange Soup are hard to beat; her defense is Unbreakable but 1 nil was an excellent result.

  8. The export of African football talent to Europe has a long history which can be traced back to the colonial period.

For example, some of the finest players from Senegal and Cameroon have honed their skills in France - the former colonial master.

However, the world is also awash with African-born players who changed nationality for one reason or another.

Zinedine Zidane, Claude Makelele, Patrick Vieira and Marcel Desailly are some of the better-known stars of African origin.

I always thought the former Ajax player and Holland international, Youssouf Hersi was a Somali but seems like he is Ethiopian.

I am glad to see my beloved Africa has produced world class players!
