Can anyone else think why Obama shifted gear with the dual-track policy rather then just blindly supporting the tfg? I know that obama administration were getting fed up with the no progress happening in mogadishu however why didn't they take somaliland and say "we will recognize u and follow your policy" why did they take puntland policy and say "somalia still federal states but we will give you economic assistance" which is what puntland has been wanting the whole time along.
