Af Maay has its own dialects just as Af Maxaatiri (tidhi) as it has its own. Some Maay dialects are simply hard to understand and can't be comprehended by your average maryooley. I think it's the speed with which words are spoken that makes Af Maay not easily understood. If you slow it down, it's almost word to word apart from sub-cultural nuisances and words. Anyone know what does H@rti means in Maay? Does anyone speak Garre and Bravano languages? Som@li....Acknowledging Af-Maay has to do reversing prejudice by Geeljire nomads and leaders that relegated all Somali sub-cultures to the dustbin. N could make the agreement that Af Maay and Af Maxaatiri have evolved to the point of being considered two different languages. N quite honesty, all languages in the south including Garre and Barawani should be acknowledged and studied.

^Both places are not from Kigali Road or the main downtown mosque. I think both has lower and upper deck. Have you seen a little shanty with fruit sellers, freshly cut and served? p.s. there was a chick looking at me while dug my hand into the bariis. Eventually, she started digging as well..lool

^It's ok-nothing special, I forget the names of the two restuarants in downtown but those the best I have seen so far. One of them had a real good hilib geel.

if you know your parents will totally freak out for bringing home a non-Somali, it's probably not a good idea to search for one online. LooooooooooooooooL

MMA....I didn't go to the shaneemo yet...looool Where's restaurant in the pic. I think I seen it. I don't like most of the restuarants in Islii and some waiters are just rude specially in Moonlight and Kilimanjaro. Royal plaza seems to run out of everything you ask for. I went downtown few times now. I seen couple of good Somalis restuarants. Zack-Wat can I say ninyahow.

Wednesday night's "Colbert Report" featured his popular segment, "The Word," and this time its target was Unilever, the maker of Dove products for women. The company recently released the "Go Sleeveless" stick, which supposedly helps women improve the look and feel of their armpits. Great. According to Colbert, women have had the distinct pleasure of being "Madison Avenue's experimental lab rats," for decades, and "Go Sleeveless" is just another in a long line of products aimed at capitalizing on female insecurities. Colbert went on to praise Unilever's brilliant marketing strategy of inventing a problem as well as the solution to it: Video

Jacpher...You forget your uncle (I don't know his name but I will find out).....lool Somalina...Many men should never been in the position of power in Somalia. Sharif is just one of them but the point I was getting at is Sharif can't be compared to Faroole. Sharif represents Somali sovereignt, Faroole doesn't. I think we are slowly awaking to the fact we are in gumeysi mode.

There's nothing diverse in Northern Somalia ( S&P) unless we have to redefine what's diversity and aligned with the Somali context. Duke and Somalina....As long as we continue calling each other pirates or what have you, nothing will get done. The fact remains these men and admins you support will come and go, and Somalia will still in the deep sh!t. Every community of the Somali nation has serious concerns that needs to be addressed, maybe we should start listening to their concerns and find compromise. TFG gains nothing by alienating communities from Puntland and certainly Puntland gains nothing by going against the TFG.
