Mario B;825340 wrote: The South cannot come under one authority while there are people like you out there supporting Al-shaabab. I sometimes wonder if you're a schizo! AS is convenient scapegoat. It won't come under one authority while Prime Minister and President are undercutting each other and any Oday can derail every process by simply opposing everything. Norf....This is provincial constitution that can be written or completely rejected in 4 yrs time. The issue of citizenship is one that needs to be addressed. This document will be catalyst towards that discussion. war Haatu...I thought your country was Kenya. The immigration clause is for you and Abtigiis:D

^What's wrong with immigration issue? The South needs to come under one authority, either AS or Government with right political structure. This transition can't go on.

The 1960 Constitution forms the basis for highly centralized government. Somalia needs devolved Government where Mogadishu doesn't control everything or appoint every official. For the citizenship, Somalia will eventually need immigrants if we are to rebuild the country. We simply don't have the capacity since we lack the know-how.

I saw the word monkey in the title, I thought you were gonna introduce us to your and King's colony of chimps.

^We are hoping there won't be any Aryans among us but the in words of Seinfeld not that there's anything with being Aryan. Will Somalia's tribal structure stand up to the scrutiny of DNA testing? Are Xiin and Duke really from the dude or is NGONGE related to the Imam? interesting questions to be asked.

^But among populations that are related, there is distinct identifiers that connect people with same ancestral roots with degree of certainty. For examples, males that originated from one common ancestor will distinct chromosome or gene that is unchanged through time. The same is true for women. Since our society is patriarchal, can we really say all males that claimed to be from same tribe really do have one common male ancestor?
-
^Abtiris is not exactly reliable science as tribes migrate or shift alliances both of which can change their relations to each other.

I have been watching this show for while. The premise of the show is exactly what title says, looking for ancestral roots of the guests who are mainly celebrities. The guests ancestry is traced through documents and dna testing. Since we don't have written history and stories about ancestors are not reliable to say least, tracing our individual ancestors through dna testing is only the option. All this led me to wonder, if we were to do dna testing on Solers, how many of us will have common ancestor at any given time in history. Mind Somalis have extensively intermarried and obviously continue to do so. And the stories of Arab Shiekhs coming to Somalia seems shaky at best. Is there common Somali ancestor and are today's tribes really blood related or mere political construct that was established in the past but now accepted as blood kinship?

When will this love-fest gonna to an end?

^If the Caveman is calling a man, he's projecting something beyond the scope of this discussion:D Carafaat however deserves your mercy or even pity. The man is already confused and not mention fighting the entire Pland clan in the politics section. About the qabiil reference, I am talking when gabadha lasoo doonto, good tradition glazed with qabiil.

^There never were united Somali culuma let alone political wing. Islamic courts were simple natural reaction to Xamar's warlordism.
-
Liibaan...Islamic courts were not your traditional Somali culuma, more importantly they were political entity.

Blue...Well, without actually saying it and through his actions, he led us to believe you were off the market. Perhaps it was his way chasing off other primates ogling blue. Qabiil when it comes to the issue of marriage is not actually bad thing! lool@Paragon

^lool...I didn't say you practiced or had to pay dowry. He's your friend you say, I guess he has been misinforming us:D

Infact it can be argued the man is not apart of the solution but apart of the problem. I liked your logic off the cooling off time period till people come their senses. CHE is not a local in Somalia who has known nothing but war from day 1 and expects them to all hug and forget everything over one meeting in mogadishu and have a 1960s style somalia return. Sorry CHE but that is not realistic!!! Is there any Che on the forum now or are you confusing me with Carafaat?

Blue...What odayaal will receive Carafaat when he comes to ask for your hand in aroos? Usheeg Blessed. Women are essential part of Somali qabyalaad yet they pay the highest price for the evils qabyaalad creates.
