  3. why invite puntland since they aren't part of the five somali entities, but not invite galmudug ? why invite 'ONLF' but stay silent on NFD aren't they somali. why invite Somaliland and not invite Djibouti, since both are have chosen not to take part of a greater Somalia ? why invite Al-shabaab - ignoring the fact of them being a terrorist organization- and not invite Hizbul Islam or even Ahlu Alsunah? Is this a revival of the failed Somali weyn project if so then many players are absent, Is this about the former Somali republic only then many whom arent concerned are included, if its for building an Islamic state then you have included parties that oppose it. there is no common ground, so every body here is for the free caano and Hilib!

  5. Norfsky think of the Somali republic as Humpty dumpty.
  6. The sun had set on the isolated somali political environment, that is foreign interference-free, and with the climate change this is how Norfsky's acacia tree looks like : geed aan hadh lahayn ^ Al-shabaab don't negotiate with infidels. ^ TFG wants to negotiate, funds management is what they want to negotiate on. ^ these guys want to negotiate, hostage negotiation that its. [b/] ^ these guys want to negotiate on which color to paint the Mig monument in Hargiesa. ^ These guys hmmmm they are not even part of Somalia they shouldn't be invited at all. ^ these guys only negotiate with their cousins. finally if you get it then you do, if you dont then I will kill you

He knows how to make living whether he sings Guulwadow siyaad or soomaaliland. His goal is to earn for living. Nothing else. Same goes, with those poeple who brought him to laascaanood. So if Somaliland's case is a Unrealistic and Delusional you say in very poor way nonetheless. Then what would Somali Wayn be realistic, if it is Show me one Somali political leader or group that supports that idea and fully embraces it, you cannot allow Djibouti to choose independence and deny Somaliland the same right, and you cannot give up on claiming Western Somalia and NFD while still claim Somaliland, based on the failed Greater Somalia scheme.

  11. Although Im a Somaliland independence supporter, I have to agree with the anarchist commentators here, South Sudan doesn't have a formal border so it will go into war with north on this, if not on the diverting oil to Kenya or even on mere independence. South Sudan joined the political arena of the north -something Somaliland won't do obviously- and negotiated with the north - something Somaliland can't do also, because the lack of a legitimate counterpart- , and is yet not clear if they will choose to vote for or against secession. And most importantly South Sudan has the backing of asian powers because of black gold, and western powers because of the former plus their animosity towards the Khartoum arab islamist regime.
  12. Eng. Faysal Ali UCID chairman and Candidate for Somaliland presidency, in his speech in Burao proposed two points that clearly distances him from the other two candidates. First He proposed the implementation of Islamic Sharia in Somaliland, without detailing the ways and methods of the implementation, fully or partial etc. Secondly He proposed to host Somalia reconciliation conferences in Hargiesa, yet he clearly stated his stand on Somaliland's independence "dadka reer Somaliland-na mardanbe ku noqon maayaan Xamar oo waa innaga xaaraan" source
  13. The problem with SSC is that they are trying to linger to two legacies - Darawish and Military junta*- that are equally unpopular to both SL and PL, plus despite the notion of SSC being one entity is a fantasy because non is inhibited exclusively by the "D-block". Plus never will the people of Buhoodle or Las anod will be considered anything but reer Waqooyi to puntlanders**. Only in Somaliland is that they are considered equal citizens. *http://www.garoweonline.com/artman2/publish/Wararka_19/Wafdigii_Madaxweynaha_Puntland_oo_ku_laabtay_ Caasimadda.shtml **http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Somali_people#Clan_and_family_structure

Lets hope that global powers dont know the difference ey
