  1. How is this attention seeking. I only reported a key event and yet you say i am a attention seeker??. Are you nuts, my friend. loool@ offensive to polish.... errm its just that their entire govt has died. This should have been reported like I said previously and somalis not knowing this shows a complete lack of touch with the on-goings of the world. I bet you knew though and thought who cares... now thats offensive.
  2. loool... thanks for support (!). I am not homeless yet, waiting to hear from council.

  4. ^ Made a habit of mentioning major places of Somali in London, Southall, Edmonton and Hounslow. Why are you pretending you know these places. Because you don't.
  5. ^ I reported the event after at least 15 hours after it occurred. I am sure someone else was aware and should have reported it. Actually my membership was granted rather quickly.

In most Somali people cases, it is like the man who runs out of his burning house with his family still inside and upon seeing the guy next door struggling to reach his family, forgets his own and dashes to help the guy out. Sad day for Poland. P.s. B, Most people in Poland won't care if Somalis supported or felt for their loss, in reality it means nothing, we can't bring the dead back nor can we give them any other support be it finance, training or planning to fill the vacuum left. Once again ppl are making a habit of putting emotions and whether we should feel sad for the dead in the plane. This is not the case. I am only asking why wasn't it reported. was it seen as irrelevant and not important? Because this is a problem, this was a big piece of news and people are quick to come out and pretend they don't care.

  8. geel-jire This is/was major news brov. Why wasn't it reported? That was my initial question. All major news should be reported immediately. Lately the nonsensical that has been posted is all to clear to see - the worst being a comedy clip about south africa!
  9. Originally posted by Kashafa: Right, Right. Feeri, abti. Kan I asik yuu a kuweeshan ? Have you dedicated a thread to this 'newsworthy', 'appalling', and 'shocking'(to borrow a few of your adjectives) slaughter of unarmed civillians ? I guess your kind would brush this off as 'tragic colleteral damage', yes ? Moral of B's thread: Tragedy only counts when it happens to Massa Whitey. Pay your respects you damn darkies. Fun Fact of the Day: Poland played a large role in the invasion and occupation of both Iraq and Afghanistan. The Polish leadership(military and civillian) who planned and carried out that naked aggression against the Iraqi and Afghani people perished in the plane crash. So, um, somebody tell me again why the F should I be in mourning ? Firstly no one is asking you to mourn the people who died in the plane crash. I was merely noting the fact that there was lack of coverage of the event on these boards. secondly, I have long watched your postings on somaliaonline. I was not that bothered to response because of your tongue-in-cheek way of developing your argument. I didn't know whether to take you serious or not. But I have concluded that your a takfiir. The shia people in the video you posted are no different to your type than a mere kuffar, as you would call them 'rafati'. Please don't use the humanity argument because you don't strike me as a person with compassion or humility. You are a butcher of people everyday and yet have the nerve to talk about collateral damage. I wonder how many innocent people are slaughtered for religious gratification in Al-Qaeda/Shabaab occupied Somalia on a daily basis. People are people at the end of the day. Whites and Blacks are all Muslim. You represent the wrong face of Islam, by separating people into whities/darkies.
  10. Originally posted by Che -Guevara: quote:Even sadder We Somalis Don't Know It What makes you think we don't know it-what an assumption. it was most certainly not an assumption. I usually only put newsworthy stuff on somaliaonline but this was in reference to the fact it was newsworthy and that it was not reported on the forum. Of course, there are many people who knew of this tragic event, presumably like yourself, but it was not reported.
  11. my friend, every life is important. Just because you hear death everyday, or even possibly see it, depending on where you are, doesnt mean you should become immuned to tragic nature of death or albeit a entire govt. Yes, death is part of life and its the only certainity in this world but please dont lose sight of pain caused by death.
  12. loool@karl... you are nuts my friend. has it ever occured to you that its a positive move that we all want to do well.
  13. I am appalled and quite frankly shocked and dismayed that no one on Somaliaonline has reported the tragic death of the Polish President and various high ranking members of Polish govt in a plane crash in Russia. Poland is no longer the peripheral figure it once was. Today it’s a shining example for many nations to follow. I hope this major set back doesn’t impede all the development that has been achieved in the last 20+ years. This inability to report anything that is not Somali in nature is not nice and doesn’t bode well for the future relations of the Somalis and other countries. This political-segregationist approach is not good for the collective wills of the Somali people. Have we become immune to the on-goings in the world or are just too busy with our trivial little issues not to have see, heard and reported such a major event today. Is it any wonder that people don’t know about Somalia and its suffering; perhaps the outside world has forgotten our plight too. This shouldn’t be reciprocated because we are all one people at the end of the day. When Poland suffers we should feel it and send our condolence to the polish consulates the world over. Life is

of course, there is an assumption in 'what you make of it', is there a target, like a certain amounts of things you have to achieve. In life values are the key. everything else is immaterial, well at least that is what I think.
  18. Originally posted by Oz: Since your life is so crappy, how about volunteering to help those intellectually disabled. Have you done voluntary work before? I won’t say that it helps a lot but at least, it slowly leads to the fulfillment of your destiny… and go back home. Who says my life is crappy?. Everything that recently afflicted me has been a learning experience and a part of me is glad of my suffering because it could only make me stronger in there future.

    moving out

Somali parents are over-protective. They need to let go. I moved out only to get away from the daily interference in my life and that fact, my mother was doing too much for me. But not sure how long I have before I return to that life.
  20. As unabashedly sentimental as The Song of Sparrows often becomes, this simple fable of a righteous man’s relationship to his family, his community and most of all his faith has the force of conviction. Its so elegant and full of humanistic moments. Definitely the best film I have seen in almost 5 years. I really recommend you watch this film. 10/10 Karim works at an ostrich farm outside of Tehran, Iran. He leads a simple and contented life with his family in his small house, until one day when one of the ostriches runs away. Karim is blamed for the loss and is fired from the farm. Soon after, he travels to the city in order to repair his elder daughters hearing aid but finds himself mistaken for a motorcycle taxi driver. Thus begins his new profession: ferrying people and goods through heavy traffic. But the people and material goods that he deals with daily starts to transform Karims generous and honest nature, much to the distress of his wife and daughters. It is up to those closest to him to restore the values that he had once cherished. Full Movie on Youtube. 10/10

  23. where is this place?. I dont like office work. I quit £23,000 job once because i was imputting data in a computer all day long. i am search for more fulfilling jobs, like teaching.
  24. ^ I think i am slighty over-qualified for that! but you are so helpfully juxa, walahi if the community had more people like you, we would not have the haasid hassid mentality. I don't think your case is as bad as you see it. Your worst case scenior is going back to the family home and losing on the "freedom" you gained. That's not bad at all. Atleast you have a family you can go back to. By the way, as a guy what freedom are you loosing - it's generally girls that have strict curfews and such..... lol@ freedom. Its not freedom but the fact that my mother is very OTT with my life. She will literally bring me breakfast in bed, wash my clothes, and iron them and clean my room etc... she does too much for me and I hate it because i want to see if i can live alone and be independent.
