  1. SEOUL (Reuters) - The subway corporations serving South Korea's capital will introduce women-only cars this year to make rides more comfortable and free of groping male hands, a subway official said on Wednesday. "Sexual crimes happen frequently when the cars are packed and people are pressed against each other," the subway official said. Nearly half the crimes reported on the city's eight subway lines are sexual in nature, with many taking place on two lines that serve university and office districts, lawmaker Lee Jai-chang said in parliament on Monday.

L0L@weird looking woman. Don't hate me because I'm beautiful.

He never did propose to me. We were one from the moment we met, that it just ended up being an assumption. He was putting out signals that he was in it for the long run. While we were dating, he would say things like "If we were to have a son who do you think he'll resemble more, you or me?" L0L [war wiilku indho adkaa!] After a while, it turned into "Markaan aabbe kaa doono" and before I knew it he was saying "When we get married." I finally looked at him one night and said "Are you planning a wedding I'm not aware of?" and he said, "you're now!" It was sweet and simple. No fanfare and certainly no bended knee [ ] Now, life is yummy good. I bring him the newspaper every morning, and he brushes the snow off my car.
  12. Isn't tribal nepotism the fall back governing model in all Africa? Originally posted by General Duke: Ambassadors and diplomatic missions are part of the vital organs of any national government, pardon my Welsh but what would people say if we had no diplomatic missions. We say this government is 'skin and bones' for it's already one without original vital organ.

  14. if the idea of a 13 year old having a 'personal choice' appeals to you, than hey, by all means...live and let live. We can't all be so liberal minded . I will judge and watch them like a hawk!

That is the most unkind thing I have ever had the displeasure of reading. 1. What makes you think they didn't care about their education because they happened to get pregnant? 2. Why are you generalizing? 3. Since you are being presumptuous, why not assume that some of them could be married? Teens do get married as farfetched as it might seem. 4. You make it seem as though it was intentional when it might not have been. Sex doesn't always lead to pregnancy. 5. Our lives are guided by a divine order so their pregnancy waa loo qoray: meaning there is no amount of condoms or abstinence classes that could've stopped it. It happened. There is nothing that can be done about it except to deal with it positively and help them out. They should just do their work at home and either have the counselor pick it up or have a family member drop it off. Methinks you're protesting to much. With that said, dealing it positively means giving a child the green light to go ahead to commence having sex. When teenage girls see a pregnant teen receiving positive attention from their peers, teachers and even their family it does nothing to deter them from getting pregnant themselves. Markaa in loo sacab-tumo waa khalad. These are girls as young as 13, I'm not assuming anything other than stating what they really deserve and truly are. And the truth is, teen pregnancy comes from irresponsibility, istupidity, and carelessness. The fact that the article didn't mention a baby daddy makes me believe they're having these kids unwed. Just curious: what do you mean "waa loo qoray?" Are you saying they should do whatever and whoever that moves, since the outcome of their lives is already decided and whatever they do doesn't matter, kolee waa loo qoree? Let's all party then , I've always wanted to use that as a cop-out of my responsibility for my own actions. Aaliyah: Whoa! That's a whole new subject on its own!

  20. I love farmers-ka dee as my happiest memories of my childhood were at my grandpas' farm. I hated living out in the city [Xamar] when I was a little girl. Now, I dream of when I can live out in the country and even raise my own livestock!
  21. That still remains a major taboo. We are in the 21st century and it's time Somali/Muslim parents act like it in this awkward area, as some kids these days are more advanced than perhaps when they were at that age.. Uur markay yeelato ceejo ku dhag ma soconayso! I have an amazing and witty cousin who made sure her child was in the know about the birds and the bees at the age of 10. The look of disgust on the child's face was a lovely sight to behold. Scare them now people to stop you becoming a granny at the age of 30.
  22. ^ Are you forgeting the lower Juba/Shabeele region? Those folks were farmers by nature addeer, iska yeel yeel maaha. They run their farms successfully back in the days. Now, land mines and air/surface bombardment have poisoned the agricultural lands. It'll probably take years to recover from the ravages of war. Nonetheless, that's a good plan Abu-Salman.

You sound like my parents, they have the old school mentality that negative reinforcement is the way to bring up your kids.. always comparing us to other miyi' people.
