  4. ^^^gal some alwayz twist words..and many in this site and others as well have learned to PERFECT this talent. But, Iam glad our MUSLIM brothers realize that there needs to be EGALITARIAN ROLES by foreshadowing the lifes(roles and responsibilities) of our PROPHET(S.A.W.) and the khalifas'(R.A.). Otherwise, some are totally blinded by some traditional patriachial roles and will never grow out of it NGONGE-stop acting up like you are the man of the house, when its abvious that you are 24/7 stay-home up-to-no-good baby producer (* looking at NG shuffling for his WELDING glasses to see what I wrote. Open Minded

Indeed, to be open-minded doesn't mean that one has to agree with everything said, but atleast to respect and try to farthom different views and perspectives. RAHIMA and MEENAH exactly-a complete open-minded is really not having a STRONG stand on ideologies (OBTUSE-minded rather!) QacQac-don't you know that there are many muslims, somalis or even westerners who totally do not agree with the rules/regulations/perceptions of the WEST?  Besides, you generilize a bit much about UNIVERSITY students
  11. looooooool..I say free atlast for women all around the world with Infidelity problems. Yes, MEENAH I hope you got plenty of EARL GREY and some macmacaan to top the occassion So guyz if you know you are one of those, make sure you "always carry a thermos to put it in and keep the name of a good doctor close by" ..lool. I can just picture many Thai men carrying thermos..

    A bit of Gossip

^^I had no idea even Footie fans gossip too kagadaran sijui moderators baaba ugudaran Me don't gossip but I heard that the reason Amina Fandhal got married so quick was because she was pregnant with Ali gidaar-wase's baby, but did you know that he has a wife and 2 children back in Nairobi waiting for sponsorship ? Funny how gossip just comes to me
  13. NGONGE -Aterere makasee? waxa tiriba lugu yiri ya caraabul ximaar -no one is fighting but some skewed-minded people need to be reminded that not all SOMALIS are from SOMALIA-kapishe' QacQac -stop being an arrogantly narrow-minded  (as well as others who have the same perspective about SIJUI people). If you really believe that, I really feel sorry for your QAXOOTI *** OG_Gal-adi kenyati maaheynoo?
  14. Iam proud of the strong KINSHIP aspect of our culture that is instilled in me and in many somalis throughout-hence, proud to be SOMALI because of this. And, alxamdulilah, Iam a MUSLIM.
  15. ^^^DA gal I guess I took it harshly-forgive me- and after that last elaboration-I get your point. Yes, I agree, some do manipulate to marble their agendas.
  16. quote: -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- I was referring to General women's rights that SOME(and I say SOME) women in this world do not enjoy due to all reasons ranging from 'patriachial' customes, traditions, ignorance, and some religious fallacies and attitudes that still prevail to this day. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Do you mean to tell me that there are ALOT of women who do enjoy mysogynistic traditions and customs and manipulation of our great religion? I think some just don't question it (rightly so) and some don't care. Subxanallah DA -I think you just generalized our religion as being Misogynistic and manipulative to many women (I dont confer with you on this!). Nonetheless, I was answering to UNDERDOG but still I said that some men(and I will keep on saying SOME-because I dont think all are!) are confused about the treatment of women and women rights in general as a result of an INTERTWINED MISCONCEPTION that has resulted from indirect quotations of religious doctrines and customes/traditions/culture.

UD-If you are gonna fiddle with my words and marble it to suit your psyche-I SAY, YEAH! SUIT YOUR SELF
