Rahima replied to General Duke's topic in Politics
Yes and if he made a joke about any other place without being provoked I wasn’t born yesterday Smith. Had WD made the similar remark (I did not insult Gaalkacyo, I laughed at that which I thought was amusing), you would overpass it with no reaction, but considering that I was the one who made the remark (and that I am not your ‘cousin’) you become overly sensitive and hone in on it. Listen brother, sorry to say, but get over it. I neither insulted Gaalkacyo nor any other city/town, and anything I was to say about Gaalkacyo is as much my right as it is yours. Do you think you have preferential right to Gaalkacyo? is that why you feel the need to use its defence as a weapon for your biased tribalistic ideology? You insult the people of Xamar and Hargeysa day and night, yet the moment anyone makes any remark about the lands of your tribesmen (even if it is not an insult) you cry foul. You my brother are becoming more transparent by the day. Liqaye, Your advice is very much appreciated and inshallah I shall keep it to mind. -
Good news indeed. JZK Ayoub

US deports Yusuf Islam over claims that he supports terrorist groups
Rahima replied to General Duke's topic in Politics
Subxanallah. I was so surprised by this when I heard it on the radio this afternoon. Just go to show that nationality or birth means nothing when it comes to the so-called war on terror. Surely this is nothing more than a war on Islam. This is all happening, yet we Somalis still slaughter one another. Could we be any sadder? May Allah bring swift victory to this Ummah and defeat His enemies with a calamity which has no cure. -

Rahima, why the attention on Puntland? Its starting to make sense to me that people here, like yourself Otali and Xarago dont really hate C/Y but hate Puntland itself. The proof is in the JUBA, youd defend the actions of the MOORIYAAN in Dhoobley and keep attacking Morgan, you seem to be cheering Somaliland on against the people of LAS ANO, in this case I understand Xarago, after all she is a Somaliland supporter. Brother, i could not care any less about all the parties fighting over Kismaayo. As far as i'm concerned there are all the same (i've said this so many times, have you missed something?). As for the Somaliland issue, did i in anyway support any group? All i said was that we should not be wishing for war. You're a sane thinking man are you not? How can you have a problem with that then? Anyway, you're speaking irrationally (i think you will realise that yourself in a short while ), i just have been making these certain comments because i don't like a "monopoly" and detest propaganda. You guys bestow sainthood on some individuals and groups whilst demonising others, when in fact they're both the same. All i'm doing is highlighting your bias. I do the same with all factions on SOL . So i promise i'm not singling you guys out. As for the massacre in Dhoobley, believe you me, you have no clue how close to home that is for me. You would then realize how ludicrous your claims are. -

Gen Morgan, we will clear the JVA out of Juba in the coming weeks

Rather we pray that a Somali government which will curb this madness is established. -

^ Subxanallah. Brother i was not insulting Gaalkacyo. I was joking with you. You know, a joke, to tease, to kid.. you hide your place of origin Hide? Why would i hide. I have nothing to be ashamed of. This is insulting not to mention disrespectful really. The point is, that because of the place of my origin i will not conform to a particular type of thinking and i will certainly not be biased. My family is also from Gaalkacyo, so even if i make fun of the city, it has no evil intentions. As for Hobyo, it is a beautiful Somali Town, that i am proud of, for i am Somali and it is part of my land. If this and that city means tribe for you, sorry to say but for me the lands of all Somalis is my birth right. Some may not like it, but this is the view that i hold to. Who's defensive now Smith -

The saddest part about it all is that automatically the two of you make assumptions about a person because they disagree with you. Ever thought that everyone is not infested with triablism? WD, unlike you, i would be more than happy (if it was within my capacity) to deal with the warlords of my clan is as seen fit by the shariica. Take them to trial and after the guilty verdict is passed, shoot them myself for all the suffering and havoc they have caused my people (Somalis that is, i know to you people means sub-clan ). Can you say the same? (rhetorical, you often miss my rhetorical questions) -

rahima, is your name xarago? It's called a discussion dude  . Don't get all heated up . Honestly waryaa, you're not showing very much maturity here brother. Please ease it up jaamac is a socalled wadaad colonel who took $350.000 USD for himself from carta, to bring Puntland under Carta rule. He also only cares about his own jilib and thinks as the Boqors of Qardho they should be also the presidents of Garowe. So says a CY supporter. Who interests does CY serve? That's right! Your sub-sub clan. -

Otali, straight to the point, believes Aydeed was the man who ruled the earth, that Yuusf Inda Cade is saint, and that his clan are super-men, emotional, irrational and loves being the senior member in the JVA support club. Replace Caydiid with CY, Yusuf Inda Cade with Morgan and erase the last part. That probably sums up you and WD very nicely . BTW, horn does not need to be a closet PL supporter, he supports it openly brother. It's just that often Puntlanders themselves confuse CY with PL. What do they then expect from non-Puntlanders i wonder. -
These days any with a gar is Al Itixad. I'm surprised Morgan hasn't labeled himself as Al Itixad Funnily enough HA, this is exactly what my reer Afmadow buddy said. So true ain't it?
-
please my dear sister don't be so naïve! This is rich coming from a boy who supports CY . Listen brother, I have many downfalls, however one of which is not naivety of this point. People will often write that which they wish. It is called an opinion and can be baseless. As for Al-itixaad wreaking havoc, dare I say I disagree. It may be that certain groups who claim to be part of Al-itixaad wreak havoc and it may even be that Al-itixaad has made bad choices, but this does necessarily constitute them into been a tribally orientated organization- and as far as I’m concerned (even with all their faults) they still have the upper hand on all the others. As for Somalis in general, nowadays we are so quick to label as terrorists/troublemakers any practicing Muslim, that I no longer take anything they say with respect to the practicing Muslims. They say Ethiopia and the US are very generous. Also, If indeed this was the case, then how come that the leaders of Al-itixaad comprise of the major Somali tribes? Likewise, the commoners of Al-itixaad are of various tribes. Al-itixaad is based all over the country brother, from Kismaayo, to Xamar, to Puntland and to Somaliland. The people at the top of Al Itixaad So who are they WD? Since you are such an expert, please enlighten us all. I'm not talking about the leader only, but the forerunners of the group. Think long and hard before you answer this, you wouldn’t want to be making a mistake.

Only because you don’t want to humiliate yourself when you use as ammunition of proof . Jamaac Cali Jaamac and CY are not even in the same caliber. It’s probably an insult to Mr. Jaamac even mention them in the same sentence. -
So smith, exactly which clan makes up Al-itixaad? You sure do talk a whole load of fiction don't you brother . Al-itixaad for your information is made up of many Somali tribes, your clansmen making up a great portion (i know this for a fact), so deal with it and stop making unjustifiable ludicrous claims. As for the waamo area, Al-itixaad members are generally of one particular tribe (you guess which one) only because they are great in number in the area. And believe you me; it is neither those of the JVA or Morgan. One thing i know for sure is, irrespective of any mistakes Al-itixaad may of have made, they are far removed from tribal allegiance. the JVA and their masters in Xamar. Laughable. Nothing new from a CY supporter. Honestly though, what is this obsession with the folks of Xamar. You claim that you have nothing against them tribally, yet you are more than happy to lay the full blame at their feet when in fact they are not the leaders of the JVA? Could your blame laying be tribally motivated? Oh heck, who am I kidding, of course it is . The way you see it is brother, there is no way that my own ‘brother’ could fight against me, so I assume they are being brainwashed by ‘outsider’ . I think I’ve pretty much hit the nail on the head, even if I say so myself  . What do you think Smith ? I know it was easy, but nonetheless an ingenious point .

Run-off Election between Addow and Abdulahi Yusuf
Rahima replied to Libaax-Sankataabte's topic in Politics
Patriot. That is very disrespectful and not to mention down right rude. Admin I’m sure will take care of it, till then continue to show to the world your weakness. They say people resort to insults when they don’t having anything constructive to say. I suppose this is the case here. -
This is not an achievement. As Muslims, we are not meant to put our life at risk for such trivial matters as breaking a world record, not to mention it is a waste of time.
-
You guys are sick in heart and after visiting back home, I have knoticed is the people outside Somali who are sick at heart and view things like you guys are now...People back home had enough of war and they don't like people like you guys and how y'all talk.... How true! These warlords destroying and plundering are supported by the sick Somalis outside of the country. Of course they can do so and couldn’t care any less; they are after all safe and sound from the havoc back home.
-
^ No, rather every blood sucking warlord is in it for his own selfish gain. Caato is certainly one of them.
-
lahjad reer woqooyi is seen as crooked. that explains the word 'qaaldaan'. So says a reer mudug boy who is clearly biased. What makes your Somali correct and theirs as crooked? Arrogance is what I call it brother .
-
This is quiet sad actually. These warlords just keep giving more ammunition to the gaalo to attack the small number of true Muslims with taqwa. May Allah save them from the evil claims of these sell outs. He says he is calling on foreign troops {Ethiopia} to combat the Al Qaeda threat in Kismayo. HA, I asked my friend from Afmadow about the Al-itixaad issue in the Kismaayo area. First he said it couldn’t possibly be true (he is an avid Al-itixaad supporter), then suggested that if it is indeed true then they’re probably fervent youth who lack wisdom, then topped it all off with the suggestion it could be that the group that they are supposedly fighting against could be using the aid of the xabash government (which he detests passionately, them and their Somali lackeys). I suppose the last of his suggestions seems to be the case .

I think you completely misunderstood my points, …..So Alwala wa Bara is not intended for them, and for those who are innovators, we still make salah with them, however this does not mean after Salah we give them sit with them, and as for the wala wa baara issue ill be back running out time inshallah, it needs few clarification! also the bin baaz fatwa, Well yeah brother. I have not misunderstood you. This is basically the point I am making . How can you then say that you disunite with any Muslim (even if they are an innovator)? Do you realize that in the Islamic context there is a difference between disunity and to boycott/shun the fellow Muslim for reasons which may be of benefit? Also, all human beings fall into one of the three categories of Al-walaa’ wal-baraa’, including such an innovator, therefore it is relevant. So I ask you, which of these does the Muslim who is an innovator fall into, irrespective of what he/she is, the fact of the matter is the innovation does not constitute kufr, therefore, they do not fall into category 2 which is: 2.The people we should hate and take as enemies with no love and support and respect for them: These are the kuffaar, the pagans, the hypocrites and apostates. And since they don’t fall into this, then they fall into either of the other two, which means because they are Muslims we still have unity with them. are the quotes from the salaf not sufficient? No, rather what is not sufficient is your understanding of the situation akhi. You have to put all things into perspective and context. I do believe that the ibn Taymiyyah quote (which you somehow believed to be a contradiction to his other statements) is a testimony to this Anyway, let’s not waste time. Are you saying that we have complete disunity (considering that Islam teaches that this is only with the non-Muslim) with any Muslim who commits any sin so long as it does not fall under the banner of kufr? If so, how can you have disunity with someone who you stand up in front of Allah with for prayer? Anyway, inshallah I shall ask Dr. Saleh with respect to all these issues. Inshallah you will be satisfied with his response. Till then, we shall wait.
