  5. LoL...I think this is the Damsel in distress MM is refering to... Originally by Mr.Millenium to Finestsista2005 @ http://www.somaliaonline.com/cgi-bin/ubb/ultimatebb.cgi?ubb=get_topic;f=2;t=000481 What is your definition of a bad boy?. I am intrigued to know this?. Anyways what you need to do miss is to go and get yourself a husband!!! . Him keeping you is another story to discuss. You seem to be pouring your heart out all over this forum!. Looking at your previous posts made me cringe with laughter and believe me I was rolling all over the carpet, damn my ribs hurt!! . Anyways going to your question, I seem to have that answer that the so called bad boys that you mentioned go with nice girls!. It is that simple. The problem is not the b boy going for a n girl but you choosing the loser!. You chose a loser, time and time again and now you are regretting the outcomes of your short and sad relationships!. Let me clear my throat, mmmm. You are a damsel in distress!. I suggest you put your chin up and get on with your life. Well i cant help but think that you are acting like a minor. Grow up girl! Mr.M
  6. Oh my! Thats hysterical! "Little Old Lady: Hell, no. That's when he yelled, "April Fool!" And that's when I shot him!" Serves him right for raising her hopes like that!
  7. LoL! I think these three are the best... 5) Affection means a whole lot more when it comes from a guy who doesn't normally give it. 4) He's guaranteed to cheat on you so someone else can endure his lack of lovemaking skills most of the time. 1) You're looking for someone you can't trust, and won't care about you too much, who will abuse you mentally and financially, but you don't know any lawyers.

  9. Mosses, figures u would. Ameenah, I kno... Ask any single guy about what he looks 4ward to in marriage and its all about "having my meals cooked 4 me 4 a change" and "not to worry 'bout the laundary anymore". I wonder, why not just hire a maid? Scorpion... LoL...u've got a dirty mind my dear.

  11. Originally posted by Lefty: You have tried blaming men for single mother problems but you haven't come up with one legitimate reason. The high rate of Somali diaspora divorce caused by the imitation of a new culture. IF you give a closer look to those who got divorced, you will atleast find majority of women motivated for challenging their men or men doing the other way around. That's where the whole phenomenon starts and mostly caused by women! Yup, as always it is the woman's fault. Nothing at all to do with the man. Nope, they are all blameless...and it doesn't take two ppl to make a marriage work. It just takes the woman. What a load of drivel! Consider this...the single mother is at least there for her child/ren, trying to feed, educate and care for them while at the same time trying to get on with her life. Where's the father I ask u? Just because he is an EX-husband, doesn't mean he's also an EX-father. And no, you can't say he's refused access to his children by the mother either...there are laws and courts in these countries. If the father wants to see his children, he can. If they had sticked to their own culture and family heritages, these high number of divorces wouldn't have happened. Choosing not to, The saga will continue! Lefty, I wonder what you mean by the above? Something along the lines of "shut-up and take my BS woman!" is what I'm guessing. Well, my dear, we are not in the bush any longer. Authoritarian and bullying tactics don't work anymore. So, if that is the loss of culture you're bemoaning, then good riddance I say! As for the topic... The bottom line is no woman wants to willingly become a single mother, if she can help it. It is not an easy or attractive path to take, it is in fact, a frigging nightmare. Thus, such mothers need help and support not ridicule and blame.
  12. Someone fowarded the following joke to me. I almost pissed myself when I read it, so enjoy. ------------------------ On a recent transatlantic flight, a plane passes through a severe storm. The turbulence is awful, and things go from bad to worse when one wing is struck by lightning. One woman in particular loses it. Screaming, she stands up in the front of the plane. "I'm too young to die," she wails. Then she yells, "Well, if I'm going to die, I want my last minutes on earth to be memorable! Is there ANYONE on this plane who can make me feel like a WOMAN?" For a moment there is silence. Everyone has forgotten their own peril. They all stared, riveted, at the desperate woman in the front of the plane. Then a man stands up in the rear of the plane. He is gorgeous, tall, built, with reddish-blond hair and hazel eyes. He starts to walk slowly up the aisle, unbuttoning his shirt ...one button at a time. ...No one moves. ....He removes his shirt. ..Muscles ripple across his chest ...he whispers: "Iron this."
