  1. Now now people where is your tolerance...dont tell me you want the whole Somali people to be your ideal charecters...if the guy chose to hug, mingle and associate himself with all the values this BB is giving it is 'his' choice.Yeah..and your choice is either vote for him or dont vote at all. Bet if the guy won the roll over jackpot last weekend praises would have been due. NGONGE pal dont worry we will nominate you 'again' next year...but we have to improvise on the reasons u failed to qualify this year
  2. People bear in mind we are a growing community with diverse interests and practices, and hence should appreciate each others preference however distasteful it may look. Not that I like the values of BB, but on the basis that I share, allegedly, with Ahmed my nationality I will support him. I say allegedly cause there are many people like NGONGE who have never been to Somalia came here to apply for asylum claiming to be Somalis.
  3. The author of the thread is honest in her attempt to enhance her knowledge and some of us r riduling the whole process..let me see if I can get it back on track.... khuuro = snoring..alla khuuro weynida ya ku ag sexaan doona adiga? hindhiso =?
  4. instead of going out to cafes and staying out with their friends chewing khat and drinking tea. You are right from a point of view, but have u thought about the fact that they would have stayed 'inside' had the enviroment been more appealing than that he is fleeing to. it takes two tango dear, you cant blame one gender on a faltering situation. I say yes. A Womans responsibility is to clean, cook and stay in her house. If she needs to get something outside, she shouldn't go without brother or father Pal tell me when you find one that will adhere to this ethos......I think they r becoming extinct......
  5. It is that way actually, with long hair and 'gareys'.....shoo raxaa damacdo..durba gareyski furateye.. si deysey timahe.... it should play with your imagination and if it doesnt go and see you local GP
  6. ^^^^^LOOOOOOOOOL^^^^ NO wonder you are wearing 'macawiis' every saturday afternoon in Whithleys. In my mind's eye, I can see her undoing her malkhamad instead! Every wonder thing starts from the top , so start imagining the hair ( and pray it is not jag-jag) then go with the flow.
  7. NGONGE Can any of you weeping and wailing guys answer this without accusing anyone of being less of a Muslim than you, and without resorting to conspiracy theories? There is no doubt that this killing is illegal in any form within the ethics of Islam . The argument whether it is justiied or not stirs the people from looking into the element which you, NGONGE, reject. The theory of conspiracy. Before we argue whether this is Islamic or non_Islamic, do we accept it was done by Islam and in the name of Islam. I for one, a big NO. May be the link posted by Libaax-Sankataabte can put light to the question.
  8. This issue whether it is or it is not justified is argumentative and will continue on and on. What it is beyond doubt is that it is a repercussion. However in the mist of all this is it not strange that everytime America's policy and motive is at its lowest ebb, and they could have not been worse than they were over the last weeks, and are faced by International condemnation led by their two houses. Somewhere some place Al-Qaeeda or an arab 'terrorist' group does something that takes the spotlight off from them. Ironically though it has been the case ever since the start on the war in Afghanistan.Which makes you wonder what is the link in here? Furthermore this sort of puts the catalyst of the whole war against 'terrorist' into perspective. Some of us need to be convinced still that twenty or so Arabs have so coherently organised and carried out the hijacking of four planes causing the havoc of 9/11. Lets not doubt though that the Bush's administration is at war against Islam. What I question is the fear factor he created for his people in order to carry out his intention whether they are of genuine or tools used to meet his ends. Just think of how many people who were vocal agaist American troops abuse have changed their mind after seeing the beheading.
  9. Kudos to NGONGE for the good creatice writing. However my friend the scenario you are trying to depict so hypothetically has currently many whistle blowers and the fracas has extended beyond the collective family in the fridge. Never the less mate, have to say it is a nice piece of analogy. Dare I imagine what your writing will be had you to choose charecters in a sewerage.
  10. "Maroodigu takarta isaga saaran ma arkee tan kuwa kale saaran buu arkaa". That is a gross unjustified and baseless accusation. Before I attempt to defend my sisters in UK who are well reputed for their chastity and also their pious parents.Let me ask you. Are you saying all the other Xalimos who are not living in UK do not have boy friends. Or may be we misunderstood the intention of your post and you are using it as bait. If that is the case mate rephrase cause this generalisation is below the belt and aint doing you any justice. As for the person who said "gabar soomali ah, oo boyfriend leh, maba lahadleen waligay. uff", keep looking u might have a chance of finding the neddle in the haystack

  12. Has anyone heard of the Prince who said "If they are protesting against lack of bread or cant afford it why dont they eat cakes".
  13. Yeah Bishaaro you are irate cause he did not give the single moment u can indulge that slight pleasure u had in mind, a faraax packing your groceries. Bet you could have chosen many other tils with shorter ques but u chose this one cause there is a farax doing the packing. And I wonder what the item at the top of your grocery pile was that made the poor guy cower behind the cash register.
