  4. Finally my crystal ball showed clear pictures. Mama African is getting old & frail & needs all the help she can get. Ameenah, I nominate you as my “Business Development Manager” so you can bring in some new business. As 4 ur match mama African saw a young man by the name Conquest, as u can c from the picture he’s ur perfect “night in shinning armor” & has all the qualities u mentioned. Lakkad oooh Lakkad Each time I try 2 look 4 ur match I had 2 reload the crystal ball (hence the delay) & every time it comes back with an ERROR. Finally it showed this picture. No wonder why u couldn’t accept Fyling_Still’s offer. “Miss Venus 2003, Dakkal”

  6. Dawaco, excellent topic sis. From responses that I read the majority of you want or have already pursued to become a career women & want to postpone marriage. I love the way that many of u argued the importance of striking the balance of getting education/career and raising a family. What I would like to know is did any1 of you think of the problems of delaying motherhood. Plz I don't want any1 of you to misunderstand as I see myself of being in the same boat as most of you, so the point that I want to make is a fact of life that as women get older her chances of conceiving is less. Not to mention the increase of developing breast cancer & so on. Sisters I don’t mean to scare, but plz do look into your health factors instead of neglecting it and thinking that it won’t happen to you. Those of you who know more about Islam can perhaps shed some light into the following ahadith. 1. The prophet encouraged people to marry at a young age. 2. Its obligatory for every muslim & muslima to get education. As we know the youngest age we can finish our degrees is 22 & as most of you don’t want to waste & pursue ur career straight away, then think about marriage. Lets say the earliest age you get married is 24-25. So what do you think???
  7. waaaaaaaar hayaaaay sawdinkan meeshaan indinku ogaa kacararteen. Flying_Still, hooyo maxaa ku qaatay sawdigii inanta xishoodka badan ahaa, bal inankan kusiiyay maxaad u diiday? This time I’ll give u another chance, but pls DO NOT ever confess ur love 4 a man, as ur older sisters have already told u so. In my next post (which will be tomorrow insha-Allah) now that I found where u all ran 2, I will give the matches 4 the following ppl. Lakkad, Ameenah, Dacawo, magnoona_girl, juxa & the lovely STHML_Lady.

  13. By Paul Cheston, Court Correspondent, Evening Standard 29 September 2003 A man took a "reckless gamble" with the lives of two of his lovers by knowingly infecting them with HIV, a court heard today. Mohammed Dica, 37, preyed on two "vulnerable" women and insisted on having unprotected sex with them after he had been diagnosed with the virus. Dica, who denies two counts of inflicting grievous bodily harm by passing on the virus, even falsely claimed he had had a vasectomy and therefore did not need to use a condom, Inner London Crown Court was told. Mark Gadsden, prosecuting, told the jury: "This defendant picked upon these vulnerable women, wooed them and then proceeded to have sex with them, knowing all along that he was HIV positive. He had taken this reckless gamble with these complainants' health, and their lives." The court was told that Dica, of Mitcham, Surrey, was diagnosed with HIV (Human Immunodeficiency Virus) in 1996. A year later he met his first victim and began a sexual relationship with her by the end of 1997. The 36-year-old woman, who cannot be named for legal reasons, said her marriage had come to an end when she was first introduced to Dica by her cousin. The woman came to Britain from Mogadishu in 1994 on a Swedish passport. Describing her first impression of Dica, who she met in Hounslow, she said: 'He was a very nice chap at the time. 'He was kind, caring. He was very friendly and social.' She added: "He was there to support me and we became very close. "He was saying all the right words at the right time. He was there for me every minute, a shoulder to cry on." When the couple first had sex, the woman asked Dica to use a condom because she was afraid of becoming pregnant, but he refused, claiming he had had a vasectomy. She added: "He said he was sure I would not get pregnant. "After we finished, he said: 'I'm so sorry, please forgive me, God forgive me.'" She said Dica would repeat these words every time after they made love throughout their relationship. "I think he knew what he was doing. He was deliberately infecting me with the disease that he was carrying," she added. Six months after the couple first had sex, the woman consulted her GP after developing thrush and severely swollen glands in her neck. Her GP suspected she had flu. But after she had blood tests, she was "really shocked" to learn she had the Aids virus. After a number of tests, she was eventually diagnosed HIV positive in October 1998. When she confronted Dica, he said: "I don't have it, I don't have it. I'm not HIV positive. This is a homosexual disease. "It is a disease of cursed people, people who have been cursed by God." Dica claimed he had been tested negative at West Middlesex Hospital in west London. Their relationship came to a bitter end at the beginning of 1999, she said. The woman sobbed: "I'm on medication, and I will be for the rest of my life." The case continues.

  23. AliSomali, I agree with Bachelor that you need to do research (feasibility study) before you embark on this project. I'm sure you studied that in your course. Setting up a Financial Institution, you need the right governing laws in place. I don't know how far those are developed in Somaliland, so please study very carefully before taking the plunge. Thus the question I pose is can i live and work in peace in Somaliland, and find acceptance amongst the people. With regards to your relation with the military regime, I believe that's history for them. I will not lie to you and say that they forgot what happen, however we can see that they have forgiven the big Sharks so why would they not give you peace and space to develop the country. PS: We use to have a watchman called Cabdi Somali back in the old days in Xamar. You brought some good memories back.
  24. Samurai oooooooh Sumurai oh my my. I thought your intelligence surpassed having any male chauvinistic inclinations, but then why should that be of any surprise. You proved the notion that “Men are guilty until proven innocent” when it comes to male chauvinism. The moment you were challenged by women you resorted to accuse them of emotional outburst. Ouch ouch   Come prepared with facts and opinions, right or otherwise to share and/or refute, and vice versa. You wanted facts, I took the trouble of clicking on the links that you gave as your contribution to the ‘good news’ articles about Somaliland that you posted before: The first article, true the article itself was good news, however you yourself gave the rational behind why you posted such a good article, how ironic ‘adaa isku markhaati furay’; ooh, ooh The underlining rationale for the headline is to stir the city’s sons and daughter (Oodweyne, Mystery, Angel-Dust and the likes)…..Burco, once the commercial hub for the whole of Somalia….its sons and daughters abandoned the city for the cosy lifestyle in Hargeysa, only to be resuscitated by the new mayor (5 month’s tenure) in 2003. A testimony, if you will that the pro-secessionist camp have not the faintest idea as to adverse, lasting repercussions of the object of their desire: the untenable jewel. The second article: Somaliland of today is so weak in its leadership that it lacks the stamina, experience, coalition, and endurance that Egal had in his hey days, and politically divided as regions outside Hargeysa cannot quite identify with the state machinery in Hargeysa…. If you call this “good news” then I would hate to read your “bad news” articles about other regions other than yours. If you wish to partake, find where knots meet the tandem on the fibre. So brother Samurai, your current account looks like its deep into the RED ZONE and you need to put some hard currency to avoid bankruptcy. The jury is out and I leave them to deliberate on the FACTS. Bari_Nomad, I have much respect for you bro and from what I witnessed so far your postings good and bad news articles cover all regions of Somalia. Dido
  25. Bari_Nomad, can you put me intouch with the Qat trader??? I wanna be the queen of that castle.
