There was an incident in Afgoye a few months back. Where masked gun men [Al Habaab] shot a poor woman who traded on the streets, her crime was that she sold an egg to an Ethiopian soldier. As they shot the woman they cried out "God is great". Indeed its madness and they ahve no sound arguments to justify their barbaric crimes.

What nonsense, what court and what evidance did they have? Stoning, killing and cutting hands off for show is not Islam. Digging graves of the dead, is not Islam. Its all show these men are sending messages to their masters in the Arab world to send more money. They will lose as they have always.

Its in the interest of Puntland to have better relations with the world, and the US are leaders of the world. This is a landmark moment in the 20 years of civil war. Puntland and its admin are chipping away at the false walls the have been build throughout these dark decades. One can doubt and even wish this is nothing, but like I made clear many moons ago only Puntland can solve the piracy issue and thus the world needs to deal with us. Also the blunder that the secessionists made also adds to the unionist states advantage.
