  1. Memorable personal moments from this decade.. Knowing others is wisdom, knowing yourself is enlightenment. Lao Tzu This was the greatest decade of my life; I started of a young man living in East London, still a student and ended up a resident of the cold city of Minneapolis Minnesota. It’s amazing how far I traveled the change that this time has had. This decade was memorable for the sheer change that took place the physical and mental scars it left, the beautiful memories of my family, friends and comrades in arms; it saw the end of my youth, the birth of my first child as well as the loss of my dear father in 2000. Through the 00s, I met some wonderful people, the friends I made in this period Insha Allah will be life long, it includes the memory of my late great friend who passed away suddenly in the middle of the decade; he was my mentor and hero, whose loss left an empty void which I still feel today. I gained a great deal of insight into the Somali dilemma, the history, politics, struggle and common destiny and shared future of the Somali race, it is strange that in many ways my life over the past decade mirrored Somalia, forever in transition, difficult and resisting great change. However I have been fortunate by the grace of Allah SWT, to have survived and prospered and my wish is to see a stable Somalia and a secure future for the Somali’s everywhere.
  2. My nicca, I know you're a closet Garowe Boy and that is all that counts. So stop fronting and pretending to be a Somalilander, aryey, blad Miss that East End fake accent.
  3. Somali Girl: I met you Did not think much of you I ignored you For the life of me I wanted no piece of you I avoided you As if you had the plague in you I faked every smile I sent you Relief came over me as I walked away from you I denied you When ever someone asked about you I heard you Sweetest sound , coming from you I saw you My eyes were opened to the beauty that is you I want you Counting down the seconds till I meet you To my ever lasting surprise You took my heart and left my soul mesmerized

The singing is just saving face for Farool who opposed the oil agreement when he was in the opposition but now has to accept it because there is no other alternative. Indeed I agree with you there, he wasted valuable time. A&T we will keep your comments here for another day. Envy is a bad thing my dear lad.
  5. Falsehood in iron bars Street thug that resembles me Don’t bend the truth No need to hold falsehood in iron bars The old fable states always avoid false starts Witness to demonic street chases I despise them These raged, hungry pitiful souls And their expressionless dirty faces Cold, bloodied and cloaked in that shroud As the titans heavily clash in the clouds Terrified of the dark crowd, unable to turn Let alone scream aloud Lacking color or that sweet surprise The pain and suffering in her eyes Indicate that it’s the usual So don’t waste time In getting what was once mine Pathetic relic of a past age There is no hidden meaning to this rage Its clear her lack of faith will keep us chained Keep staring into my brown eyes My hatred for you is deep No longer do I want it disguised Numb and motionless in this rat race While your master smiles Content from a distance For ever in that safe place
  6. ^^^I am at work now old boy, but as I have known you use this knick to cover your usual name. Its fine lad, keep venting.
  7. ^^^You seem to appear only when the Oil issue comes, lool. Adeer dont worry keep watching this space and enjoy.
  8. There is a difference your part of the TFG , I am not Your represented by cumar buur I am not. And Mohamed Abdullahi Omaar is from Qhardo right?
  9. The flag and symbols of a state are important issues, the President needs to develop the states image and this is an important aspect of that, the problem the Young Turks had with Faroole is that he was dragging his feet with regards to the Oil deal and was trying to make a deal with a dead Donkey in the case of Sharif Hotel’s ludicrous admin. Now he has realized the truth and is moving in the right direction. Puntland needs to stand in its own two feet and not wait for anyone least of all a man who does not control a single district in all of Somalia.
  10. Haji: If he [sharif Hotel] is my President then he is yours too dear brother, since you are still part of the Somali republic or are you lost looking for Gorillas in Hargaysa?

The two sides reviewed an earlier agreement signed by former Puntland president Adde Muse and agreed on amending the accord, according to the director of Puntland Oil and Mines Company Ise Dholowa. After the meeting, Puntland ministers voted for the amendments, which will allow the companies to carry out oil exploration in Puntland. The accord will then be brought before the floor of Puntland’s parliament, where the lawmakers are to debate and pass. President Farole said his administration would not comment about the agreement at the moment. Farole will sign the amended agreement after Puntland Member of Parliament vote for the Oil agreement. The Oil company will start the work after the presidential assent.
  13. ^^^Mugged one what on Earth are you talking about? Puntland does not care for Sharif Hotel, who I must thank for all the hard work he has done thus far.
  14. Duke, you don't have to tell me what I know. Of course, you are not a Norwegian. You are a dreaded Piratelander. A Pirate is better than a prisoner of Amhara, Kenyans and Al Shabaab, for he is free to roam the high seas.. A Pirate is better than a Mugged one[sNM] for he takes what is his and makes headlines, while the Mugged one is always begging for scraps.
  15. anigu qabiil ma lihi - qardhan leeyahay. taasna cidnah igulama haysato. but i don't expect clanist to understand that. Aside from your sub-clan allegiance to that town who gave you the rights to the city? Spare us the nonsense you’re by far one of the worst clanists in SOL, because you divide families and not clans. I hail from Puntland and as its citizen don’t care for Qardo [again check the spelling] or any other town or village. You care about that Qardo more than any other town because its your sub, sub, sub clans abode, and that’s the problem. Also stop trying to impress people these ONLF lads loath you more than anyone else, get a backbone cousin then we can talk.
  16. So, Garowe is Oslo. Perhaps, you should organize the world Ski-ing tournaments in the coming years! No adeer Garowe to me is better than Oslo, I am a free Somali from Puntland and not Norwegian. Again you are not making any sense. Like I said you need to get out of this inferiority complex, you need to stop hating on Puntland, it is not good for your health. Envy is a terrible thing, our land is beautiful, we are content and insha Allah will build it into a comfortable state for our children. I wish freedom and prosperity for you my cousin, but first you must get out of the prison mentality, free your mind and the rest will follow.
  17. SSyou are making a monkey out of yourself. Obviously you are not a clanist yet you are a sub-sub-sub clanist who would insult the Galkacyu in favour of Qardo [did I spell it correctly]..
  18. But we are not talking of Dhagaxbuur as if it is Paris! We are not talking of the same stream that passes through it as the Thames river! All I am asking of you is to not say a frog is an elephant Again all you do is highlight your inferiority complex, must be all the years of being prisoners to the Habashi, it has taken its toll on you. As freemen we see our land as beautiful as Paris, with the long coastline a land which has borne Sultans and kings and which today represents the hope of all Somali’s. You need to get out of prison and become free then you might appreciate what god gave you as we do our land.
  19. A&T, you remind me of the prisoner who is busy painting his cell while insulting free men walking outside. Adeer no city in your clan space can compare to those in Puntland, the greatest thing we have is our freedom, while you had to learn Amharic that was never a problem for us, and now you like Ahmed Madobe you have to learn the language of Al Shabaab, like that soft Cangeero you guys get eaten up and all you do is come here and complain to free men while painting your cell. I hope you get out of prison soon my brother.
  20. Our lad A&T and his little ONLF outbursts, one understands his frustration and angst at the failure of his clan centered projects from Somali Galbeed, ONLF to Warlord Ahmed Madobe, the man does not have a pot to piss in. He is needed to “liberate” his folks from Ethiopia and Kenya, the majority of whom ironically work for and are citizens of, and the Al Shabaab that some of them travel from distance lands to be suicide bombers for. The strain on his mental faculties are highlighted by his recent outburst at Puntland and its flag, and the fact that out of sheer desperation he calls on the likes of JB, and the soft voiced and long winded waffler Oodweyne. Two secessionists who love the ONLF and Xasan Turki as much as A&T.
  21. ^^^ With all due respect, we are not beggers, is the world unfair? indeed for most people of colour it has been and we are no exception but the Somali pride comes from a place a few from the west will ever understand and it's not false. It's a fact we have weak government and leadership in all Somali lands, bu that does not mean we have to compount his by bringing in the wolves, this deal in my opinion is adequite and we want it to go on. However we have survived for a long time in the most difficult of situations, as a westerner it would not be harmful if you watched your tone, and understood the people you are talking to. Note I have been a supporter of this deal , but all my fellow Somali's don't see it as I do and that does not mean that they should be talked down to.
  22. Lool , cheerleading for who dear?
  23. Pilgrim my friend with all due respct we are not bickering and Somali's do not apprciate being talked down to by anyone least of all Westerners. This deal as you know is supported by most Somali's from the state of Puntland, a few confused individuals and those with special interest should not confuse you. As a nation we argoing through the most difficult time in our history, you will never be able to comprehend the situation. We did not know Range nor ever heard of Africa Oil. Thus the people of Puntland were taking a deep risk, what was that old saying? "Beware of Greeks bearing gifts"
