  1. Insulting the man will not change a thing. Faisal is my cousin, and he maybe extreme but thats his character. while i disagree in how he stats things i respect his view of wanting to up liftig somaliland and its people.
  2. I had to come through and to enlighten this Keynan22 person, who i see knows only one sided false views of things. You may not like somaliland but Keynan22 but give false points is weak. The topic is about puntland but you from this line gave your view point clearly away "We all know your aspirations, and the lame, transparent strategies you've employed for these objectives". I am assuming of this comment you have issue of somaliland wanting to leave the union huh lol. If you have issue with somaliland leaving the union state it in a new post but listing your issue on a topic not related to the somaliland issue shows your bias to the somaliand visa via somalia issue. Your second other point is weak with somaliland not a multicutural entity, if i correct in somaliland you find ****, *******, and ****** in the areas of sol and sang under somaliland control, you find these groups in the government so this point of yours is false view made out of your own personal issue with somaliland and not with facts. You say all kinds of somalis go to Puntland and thats good, but large portion go there to get on boats to leave africa for bettr grounds so add that fact buddy lol. Finally this statement by you which is "Somaliland being clanish and paranoid envioronment" only shows how foolish you look, Somalis for all over come through there, even Duke a Pro-Unionst, Pro-TFG would disagree with you. But alas you a die hard extremist in your view of somaliland and its people so i would now stop giving my points cause i know you wont take them to logically and just spit more venom as most extremist somali unionst do. 3. thats wishful thinking Genral duke i doubt they will come.
  4. I read that article Duke, its his hope that somaliland attends this meeting, which looking at reports back home in somaliland dont look like that will happen. this what my family member mr.Buuba said "Somaliland should participate at the conference…it’s not a request but it’s in their interest to do so,” the Somali foreign minister was quoted as saying He also said, "Somaliland leadership can use the conference to express the reasons it wants to secede from a “now peaceful Somalia." From the Somaliland side no response from its foregin office was issued. My view in this is that somaliland should send a delegation their to give their input on why they should leave, let the talks begin, maybe the TFG can suger the pott and offer something to somaliand that ease there comfortablity in staying in the Union or it may lead to TFG excepting somaliland as independent nation. Thus talking to them will not hinder what somaliland has and it show the world that we are open minded people, that stands for its people and are open to talk with the other side, if they show the same respect towards us.
  5. A serious Debate should be held between unionist and people who view somaliland to be free nation. I agree with you there Waaheen, but to take this article stand point that this awful leader in somaliland is the factor stoping somaliland for not being independent nation is weak in my view. The key test to see if what the author belives to be true is the poltical factors on the ground with this president and see if what the author belives plays out after he loss in the next presdiental election, if he runs.
  6. This back and forth talk here is taking each sides points no where. Some like the man and others dont leave at that. For me i like the man because of we are related by blood. I talked to the man and he belives in unity, while i disagree with this point, i have respect for him. In the end lets hope both people in Somalia and Somaliland grow, develop, and become power house of Africa.
  7. This region was already peaceful, but know with this is 100% for me peaceful. Xasan oo ah madaxa ergada Guurtida oo hadal mahadnaq, dardaaran iyo waano isugu jira u jeediyey dhinacyada heshiiska wada gaadhay iyo cidda kale ee gacan ka geysatay hawshaba, ayaa sheegay in Guurti ahaan ku faraxsan yihiin guusha ay ka gaadheen khilaafka u dhexeeyey beelaha wallaalaha ah, “Kuwaas oo,” ayuu yidhi; “naga aqbalay wixii aannu go’aaminay.” Wuxuunna intaa ku daray oo tilmaamay sida ay markasta diyaarka ugu yihiin ka-shaqaynta wixii nabadgelyo ah oo ay ka mid yihiin qaar ka jira degaanka oo weli qabyo ah. Maayarka degmada Caynabo, Khaliif Ismaaciil Saleebaan oo martigeliyey shirka, ayaa ammaanay hawsha Guurtidu ka qabatay degaanka, isaga oo arrintaa sharraxayeyna waxa uu yidhi; “Hawsha nabadaynta waxa qayb libaax ka qaadatay ergada Guurtida oo kuwo kalena hadda gacanta ku haya.” Wuxuuna ka codsaday Guddoomiyaha iyo Golahaba in weftiga loo kordhiyo muddada, “si ayuu yidhi; “loo dhammaystiro kuwa dhiman oo aan Guurtida la’aanteed si fudud loo furdaamin Karin.” “Waana markii ugu horreysay intaan hubo guddi noocan ahi inta ay yimaaddaan, ilaa xadkaana hoos ugu dhaadhacaan xallinta khilaafyada degaanka.” Sidaa waxa yidhi Maayar Khaliif oo shalay khadka telefoonka ugu warramayey Jamhuuriya oo xog-warraysi kala yeeshay arrintan, waxaannu maayarku soo dhoweeyey tallaabada nabadda lagaga dhex dhaliyey beelaha degaanka Sool, taas oo uu ku tilmaamay mid wax weyn ka taraysa xasilloonida iyo nabadgelyada iyo guud ahaanba horumarka degaanka, isla markaana albaab cusub u furaysa wada-noolaanshaha bulshada halkaa ku dhaqan. Ugu dambayn, Maayarku waxa uu u mahad-celiyey dhammaanba dhinacyada ka hawlgalay nabadaynta, gaar ahaan Madaxweynaha, Madaxweyne-ku-xigeenka, Guurtida, Wakiillada oo dhammaan hawlo kale oo muhiim ah qaranka u haya, wuxuuna Ilaahay uga baryey in uu u fududeeyo shaqooyinkood. 8. People put to much stock into flags, what i put stock in is results, man made results, the flag is only the symbol of the results of man made work. In the case of somalia, like th somali flag burning it is and was a man made distruction of nation that has brought somalia to this fact.
  9. This BloomDeyr should be reported, this is not Somalinet, use of words like that to describe a whole group of people is wrong, the admin should no of this.

  11. Good question SomaliEconomist, I feel the people and government of somaliland will stand on its own with no real problem coming from the TFG. There are several reasons for this and i will name a few. 1. The EU, U.S., Britian, Ethiopia would except any military aggression from the TFG towards somaliland. The might of the world body is strong and we saw a clear example of this with how the EU got the TFG to open up to have talks with other groups. 2. The TFG knows the political, social movement of somaliland, and know any political force to undermine this would lead to civil war again in the horn of africa region. 3. The TFG as not the economic, or military strength at this point to be a threat to somaliland. We see IE with Ethiopia the strongest military country in the region that maintaining military activity for long period of time is a no go with them, so just think what that would mean to the TFG. 4. The reality is no military solution will be done, the TFG political group will have to talk to the Somaliland political body, and thus find soultion to the impass, but in the end somaliland is alright in many ways.
  12. Duke, i hope this happens to your state. For Somaliland with its Oil, natural gas i think the Dubia model would work in that, Somaliland should not rely on its oil aspect to improve the lively hoood of its people, trade with ethiopia, and the gulf states should be strong factor, the other is to have school system teach IT and the computer field. Somaliland with its bright citizens can lead the way of information technology in Africa.
  13. So for people who hail from Puntland what do yo expect from your region development wise. For me i see Somaliland developing into Oil supplier in addition to being big trader like dubia.
  14. ^ Wish you luck old boy, you must be hearing something the rest of us are not, like you told me before bro can i have source for Libay, South Africa sending troops cause the only confirmed are Uganda, and Nigeria. Rwanda said they are in Sudan for while and when ever that issue is done they see if they send troops, and South Africa did not confirm 100% they send troops.
  15. Forget Rwanda for know, they will not being sending any troops this month at all.
  16. Ok, So is this TFG government set up elections for the next government or not.
  17. And i say again they will feel targeted. They will see regardless of the peace in the north that they up their have no A.U. forces while they do and the clan mind set will kick in, you and i know that Duke, somalis are and will for long time have a clan mind sit.
  18. were will this AU force be if its only in the south i think the people there would feel they are being targeted.
  19. Caano Geel thank you for posting a clearn example of all talk and no solution lool. You may think its cutie to post cartoons like this, but what it really shows is you are not up for a real debate to finding solutions to somali peoples ills, Plus i can find countless pics by aminarts.com that shows your side in bad light too old boy, but i be big enough not to post it cause it be on my side pointless and not really not stopping the divide that exists in somali culture. Your response with that comment is good direction of the state of how somalis view each other.
