    DREAMS

This dream is worster then any other dream i had. Was the fact that it happen, four weeks ago or the fact that it did came true. First of all i never had dreams that came true. Though i was dying to have one, since everyone claims to have one. Okay, this dream was about my best friends parents. Though i haven't told her about it and i think it would be selfness to do so. My dream was about her two parents. A loving mother and a father. Basically her parents were ayeeyo and awoowe, never thought somehting like this could happen. They had kids together, they kids had kids. I had a dream that these couple got dirvorced. I was shocked and couldn't believe it. I thought i was sick in the mind, so i decided not to tell it to anyone except one of my older sista i asked her "what does it mean if two parents get divorced that have been together over thirty years"? shocked and needing to here something supportive, she suddenly looks at me, and says "do i look like a dream reader to you" i knew betta not to mention whose parents they were. Anywayz, thought it was nothing and that i should not care about it. After two weeks or three weeks, i was told that "your best friend's parents are getting divorced" shocked and outraged and only happy to have a dream come true. But i was compltely shocked and felt so sad for these two old couples getting dirvorced. It was like someone saying to me, that my ayeeyo and awoowe got dirvorced.
  2. Zeke, you are right....we should give hodann a second chance. She had no warning, topic edited and banned ain't the way to deal with the situation.
  3. OG_Moti, don't take things to the heart. Anywayz i totally agree with you. We did read what you said, those topics that many would complain about are repetitive and unrealistic but what Nomad/Alien would search those 56 pages to see if there's topic has been done. Thank god, i'm unique. And don't y'all be suprised if i join these so called "old school nomads"
  4. lol OG_Moti, a friend told me that OG's hoak tapes. I didn't get a B+ for no reason. But thanks, i shall become a proffesor once i retire of my proffesional job. Should invlove marking, writing, reading, typing and so on. Ruba i can't beleive u walked out on that movie, espeacially...that scene. Ilham, the only other tapes i could really suggest is *CANAAD* and that last about three hours and i won't cover that, dam it takes ages to watch though i recommend you forward the long songs they sing (saves time)
  5. loooooool, handy tips. But i have betta plans for my husband. Most of these perfumes and shave cream seem to be carcinogenic(cancer-causing) even ur simple vasline which contains petrolatum is deadly. As for the face, i would absoultely put some huruud on his face. No soap on the face. Perfumes should always be applied to clothes, since they contain all these deadly chemicals which are easily abosrbed into the skin and spread into the body. As for the hair, washed regualary with natural shampoo, Body soap from the body shop, also. As for dry lips, A handy kiss can help.
  6. OG_Moti, if there's anyone getting repetitive here, it's you. wink! Haven't you already address us this issue before. Wasn't juniors who are repeating and not knowing it was done. Though you are requesting old nomads back. Anyone in particular???
  7. You guy's should lay of the moderators. Admin, i'm still wonderin' there's anyone not doing there jobs it's you.(Joke) Why isn't simple woman on her third warining. One more strike she should be banned. Though she told us that she was afraid of the admins and that she will try to turn it down.
  8. PINK. That is one pure colour, must of my warobe is pink. From pink diracyo to pink lingerie.
  9. If you are like me, who had enough with 1930's Af Somali...I recommend this. >>>Dalmar IYO Duniya. A classic Movie. No not a play. What was the last time you had a good laugh? For me, it must been since I saw Qabiyo, and never had the chance to see the second version. These OG people need to learn to pass the tape around. We love him too you know. I wouldn't be surprised if OG-Moti had platinum DVD send out to him, especially by Singub. I'm sick of these plays who have fat ladies singing for hours, stick skinny men with grey dyed henna, blabbing about some sick story. Those stupid microphones and that lame stage. I had enough with these so-called riwaadyo, which doesn't make sense to me. Had enough with my relatives/friends trying to confide their impeccable Af Somali and there plot, which somehow I find imbroglio. Is it me, or am I behind with the Somali tapes. Somehow they don't intrigue me. My sister came screaming and telling me "you've got to watch this" as I looked her and said "where is that wedding tape I asked for" as she says "No, I promise you, you would love this" as I hesitated to watch this Somalia tape which she claims to be done "in the out backs of Xamar".....that made it worse, "Xamar kulahaa" that made me put that tape to the next night. Xamar??? Movie??? Young star actors??? Huh something must be wrong here. As she try to spoil the plot for me, which sounded interesting, but I was still keen not to waste my time on these unhealthy, skinny and dehydrated people in da out backs of Xamar...trying to carry some love story in a destroyed capital city, that i was born in. Somehow it didn’t appeal to me. The funniest thing got me on the floor, once I played that tape (trust me, it took a lot of courage to do) a couple of wannabe’s dancing to Usher in da outback’s of Xamar got me crying on the floor. That was it; this was a turning point for me. I knew this would be some hell of a movie. I’ll try my best not to spoil the plot for you. And here goes a brief summary: Dalmar is young star actor. Whose worth having a one night stand with! He’s the hottest man on Xamar, or the hottest man in acting industry of Somalia. All these actors seem to be healthy and out going in Xamar. Living in a high-class life. This is a young man living in this war torn environment... but somehow seems to have his own world goin’on for him. The young spunk (who I am in search to find and get hitched with) is having family problems. His father who thinks nothing of him, but a gangster who seems to be lost and needs to be arranged as soon as possible. He’s father is complaining about his style, hair (typical African-American style) and his outrages style, with the gangstar hand move, which none of the girls would complain about. He seems to be a mommy’s boy, who she always supports and cares for. But he's brother who he's always compared to is soon to be married off to the love of his life. Dalmar’s father is trying to straighten his life up. And ship him to marriage. Dalmar’s priorities is his gangster friends and the music he claims "to live, eat and sleep on." which is non other than rap. Never the less, Dalmar the young spunk is trying to be arranged to his father's friend’s daughter. When he comes to the house, he's shock to see this ninja woman covered from top to bottom and somehow she doesn't appeal to him. Once the ninja woman disappears to the other room. Dalmar gets in a fight with her father. And verbally abusers him and saying how is he supposes to like her,"I can't even see her eyes" Dalmar jumping up and down angrily walks out of the house with his father. Long story cut short, Dalmar attends a local party with his friends who live the same values as him, and he decides to tell them how this ninja woman was to be his wife due to his dad's decision. An exquisitely beautiful woman whose face never been seem around appears at this party. Dalmar is shocked to see this gorgeous girl who doesn't seem to be with anyone. Who is this girl??? As the movie goes on we discover its Dunyia the ninja women who he once was to be arranged with. Dalmar having the slightest clue that he once attacked her father and abused her seem to fall for her, may we say, "love at first sight." He finds ways to make conversation with her as she shuts him off. Later on she agrees to dance with him, telling her in the dance floor that he "lives, eats and sleeps on music". Dunyia who finds him bit out of touch says to him "I only taste music" and leaves him on the dance floor alone. The movie got as thinking about this young girl's aim. Was she there to get back at him? Or was it a consequence? A question that can, only be answered by you. Anywayz, the young woman who lives a double live with her father and Dalmar, Becomes his girlfriend. She takes his mind away making him fall for her and to even a point making him want to commit suicide. The man is now having too much problems. His friends and him seem to be drifting away and are complaining about this girl he thinks of night and day. Wanting to marry her, he finds out that was she was a "the ninja" woman that he once assaulted her father. Dalmar is having a lot of problem. The young man is depressed. He's brother seems to get married and a baby is one the way. Not having the time to be there for him and share his happiness for him. He's father is on his back. His friends are no longer there for him. His girlfriend which he learns that he can't have a future with is killing him inside and out. All this got to him and he decided to hold a gun to his head. Not having the guts but still wanting to get away from all these problems. Long story cut short, the movie continues and takes a different turning point...Though I can't promise any happy endings. Duniya and Dalmar no longer a couple, though my memory is fading...Dalmar decides once again to kill himself on the road lying down, waiting for a car to roll him to death. A young woman who sees's this eligle bachelor and sympathizes for this young man, escorts him to her arms and takes him away. Is the woman that he would end up with? Dalmar Iyo ??????
  10. That was extraordinary story, should be turned into a movie.
  11. I'm down with the guys. Though my business is bit different to there's. Africa??? yaa! I ain't no garoob and I am certainly not looking for a cheap marriage to an uneducated and uncivilized man. Men, who marry women from Africa, have empty pockets there. And how do I feel??? *I can only sympathize for them.* You see I always had a plan to get hitched with a man in Dubai. Not a man in Africa whose face is dry and burnt and who does not meet my standards. As for man looking for women in arabta. They in it, for the money.($$$) Though I have not heard of any men marrying a woman who resides in the arabta. Even if they all decide to, i can only wonder why? i can understand the money part. But if they saying "girls living in the western society are not that religious". They must be over generlising. But then again, it's ur call. We all have our choices. Whether it’s where we reside or back home or simply in the Arabland. Just as long as we find the right one that suits us, no matter where!
  12. A friendship between a female and a male always ends up in a realtionship. Friendship with your EX leads to your old realtionship.(Never be friends with ur EX) Nope, there's no such thing as a friendship between males and females. One is always attracted to the other!
  13. Miz Lexus Am i here to impress you, by my name?
  14. jeez woman!!! I am not here to insult you or to offend you. Though it seems that i have. That's not my intentions. No need to be immodest here. Though our acquaintance have not been a long one, but i have already summed up your character, you are ill-tempered and impetuous. I do not need to thank you for my "margin of errors" that you seem to pick up and correct. What are u trying to prove here??? not to metion you have gone off the topic and verbally attacking ppl. Get with the topic or leave. No one asked for ur diatribe and no need to be trantrum here. Ps; don't correct "so called mistakes" double check what you know and what you don't. Before you end like now, correcting right info. malika, do i look like an agnostic to u? what a lame question.

  18. Y'all are LIKE rapist. Trying to rape me with ur words...easy ppl. I feel so weak and vunerable, no need to go hard out here. Simple Women, Kibir!!! (women like you seem to have there nails long and sharpened) First of all, i have never critized anyone about there grammer, nor there spelling. And i do happen to make "margin of errors" myself and i am not saying that i don't. Would you like to RE-READ and spot my "accusations" of ppl's english skills. (a way to start a cat fight, huh) one word sista: KIBIR You need to cut that diatribe of urs. As for "RE-solved" i choose to have that hyphen in there. Though i am clearly aware of it. Just like "RE-read". Chill will ya. No need for tantrum here. "FAIL"... margin of error. To me it seems, that you were quick to pick my LIL errors here, i am sure that anyone could have, but i am shocked and outraged that you were correcting some "fake mistake" of mine. No need to jump to conclusion, though you are good at doing that. However your tone is bitter, outrages and yet rational. Why are you so vindictive here? And stop displaying agreat animosity. Learn: PPL's tone can be picked up from any piece of writings. lol@Ruba... my career, and lifestyle is more important then killing myself with kids. I am the most important person in this whole wide world, my health, my health style. Me me and me is imporatnt. Mujaid, spare a hand. LoooooL@Sheyhem, "Three times a week is basically an endorsement for me two go for a second wife, can't deliver the services, then let another woman deliver it". hmmm! get ready for the kal! i'll watch for that head of urs. Though this is put in to consideration. Agreement can do. i would Hate to be married to someone like you. Buubto, i am not lost. And if there's anyone lost. Its these females who's rights have been abused by man, to reproduce and be nothing but a housewife. Let's get to the islamic side of this issue. Something i forgot to cover. First thing is first. ISLAM DOES NOT SAY, THAT WOMEN SHOULD BREED AS MUCH AS THEY CAN EVEN IF THEY ARE NOT FINANALCLLY STABLE, UNHEALTHY, CAN'T HANDLE THE PRESSURE...WHATEVEVER THE REASON IS! Yes, that the phrophet encouraged us to have as many kids as we can. I don't remember hearing the word "compulsory" or "must". Get it right! About feeding ten kids, you remind.Buubto, u made me realise something that was so simple yet tricky. You asked how Somali ppl have tenkids yet maintain to feed them. I remember when one of my class mates in health classes asked the teacher "Miz, how come that somali ppl have great tropical food growing and drinking pure milk and meats for those who live in the villages, How come they are still skinny?" i was so embrassed. All the teacher can say was "somali's are skinny it's in there generation" many expected an answer from me. Trust me, i was shocked...but today i can really answer that question. Ten Kids + less food + no money = skinny's My postings were not to offend anyone. But to address an issue that manny somali's face. But i am shocked and outraged at those ppl who called me a "non-Beliver". Do u have any idea what a non-beleiver is, define "non-beleiver in the islamic definition way" ***You don't have to use the word "non-beleiver" to support ur arguments, there other ways"*** Walahi, in the name of Allah....i swear that the real non-beilvers here are those that accused me or anyone else of being a non-beliver A sheik whose devoted yet going to heaven is still unsure, whether he would make it or not. And he wouldn't dare to call anyone that carriers the islamic religion a non-beleiver. It's sad to see ppl like buubto and many saying that "i don't beleive in Allah".....after that is a non-beliver. I don't thing i address what islam says about this matter, where are these diatribe coming from ppl? Let me address, For the first time. The prophet has Encouraged to increase the population of islam. is it me or do u hear the words "must or even compulsory" huh Jeez, it's not like you gonna be punished for not reproducing as many kids as possible. Some ppl seem to miss the simplest yet most important part of preaching. Allah gave a soul to that kid you had. But Allah did not make you choose to get married and reproduce in that conditions. You took the honours to make love day and night to have ten kids. But Allah know's ur decision and it's already recorded. Get it right, Allah let's you decide but yet knows ur decision way before u were born. Ammenah, i think i'll keep a low profile on that one. Ilhaan, trust me it makes sense and it's hard to beleive. About time you stop lying to ur self. Well ruba, things can change women have no choice to get out once they started to breed. I think they rights have been abused by men. Miz Huurican thanks for letting us know the truth. Proud sista, chill will ya!
  19. I agree with Og-moti. But then again, who chooses to go uni/college can make it. I guess many lack in achieving there goals or maybe setting them. End of the day, it's ur problem. about somali-students, when 60% of the population is illerate...i'm sure they are keen to folllow there parents steps or make a change. Or simply not even try. Though, this is true. One of my malayasian friend asked me ths too. I guess i was the first somali she met, or something. Cause she did say "there not alot of somali's in uni'
  20. Thanks Admin. May 1st, not bad. Just make sure, they don't change the dates. I will be waiting.
