Try it, say the word. QAR-DHO! Hello everyone. I have been busy laughing at the farce in the politics section. Should I act as peacemaker or should I muddy the water futher?
  2. ^^ It's a game of two halves, adeer. Norf,I disagree. Lucas and Mascherano do not just snap at heels (as you so haughtily put it), they WIN the ball and pass it on to the (supposedly) creative players. They have been doing it ALL season and you could hardly fault their efforts. I would chose them over Chelsea's Obi whatshisname, Arsenal's Song/Denilson or even United's Fletcher. Liverpool fails because the players that you deem 'great' are not really that good, Banayon and Babel mainly. I could give Gerard the benefit of the doubt because he has played greatly in so many games in the past. I could allow Torres a breather since he just came back from injury. But Banayon should be sold to Hull City or Stoke. He is nothing but a glorified substitute. Having said that, Liverpool DID control that game in the first half. They made Arsenal look ordinary and STOPPED them from playing their natural passing and moving game. Don't act like you have not seen it done before (against United, Madrid, Barca and others). Yes, the team is not winning and, obviously, there is a problem. But where we differ is in understanding what the problem is. You blame it on the way the team plays and the manager's tactics. I blame it on confidence (pure and simple). Because I (unlike you) have plenty of evidence to show that this team is good and wins games when the confidence is there. They have done it time and time again. I also can recount countless games where Rafa showed his ability to prepare for games and win them (no matter who the opposition are). So, you see, your complaints are nothing but those of a fickle fan (maybe it's the distance). If you must take your anger on someone, go pick on those American owners and their refusal to provide the manager with proper funds to buy players. We can still win the league you know.
  3. ^^ It wont be something so obvious. It's the shares they have been buying in all the businesses in Dubai.
  4. Norf, you are fickle saaxib. You just wrote that Liverpool couldn't dominate games when you saw with your own eyes how much they dominated the first half yesterday (not even Chelsea and United had Arsenal looking that useless). I ask you again, how many chances did Arsenal have in that first half? Like A&T there, you go on to ridicule Lucas and Mascherano when those two were the best players for the team in that first half and created the opportunity for the attacking players to take the game to Arsenal. That Torres is not yet fully fit, Gerard seems to have his mind on the world cup and the Israeli boy being as rubbish as a common Aaron Lennon is NOT the fault of the two midfield rocks, saaxib. I also challenge you on the point about those two not being able to pass the ball. Granted, they are not show offs and do not do any of those 40 yard passes but they DO make plenty incisive passes and allow the team to go on the offensive. It's rubbish like Babel and Banayoun who squander the positions that were bravely won for them. I know A&T never kicked a ball in anger, lakin adigu xagaad kubbada ku ciyaari jirtay saaxib?

The 2nd half was just aweful and the watching Xabi Alonso should have got his boots on and played for us. How we miss his great passing ability. I won't be watching another Liverpool game this season and I hope Rafa is sacked (forget how much it will cost us). There you go talking rubbish again. This was not the manager's fault. He set up a plan and the players stuck to it in the first half. They made Arsenal look rubbish and should have scored at least three goals. But, in the second half, when GJ scored that own goal, you could sense the confidance going and the team losing their focus. Not even your beloved Alonso could have fixed things then (and, by the way, his replacement, a certain Mr Lucas, was man of the match in the first half). Arsenal did not win that game (can you remember how many chances they had?), Liverpool lost it, saaxib. At any rate, the season is not over yet (for us). Chelsea could not beat a second rate Everton team and United were shown up as the crap team that they are without Ronaldo. Spurs lost, City drew and only Villa came out of this with any positives. You will think me mad but I still say we are in the title race. It's not over till it's over, you fickle fan.
  6. Cali Cadullah Salix always blames Somalis for all the ills of his country. He did the same when the South (Yemen) were trying to break away. He said it was a bunch of Somalis and Indians who were behind all the trouble.
  7. ^^ Serves you right for not paying attention during 'sex education classes'. I would explain it to you but I fear it will sound dirty no matter how serious I attempt to sound. I suggest uncle google. Indho Blue, you make it sound like you've come across all the other options there. Heh@ Mountain Dew.
  8. ^^ It was my backyard and I didn't even know. I'm glad I didn't though. The first paragraph in that speech would have got me hopping mad. (the rest looks good).
  9. ^^ This thread is heading in the wrong wrong way. Norf, wasn't 'suuraaf' something that is usually said to women warya?
  10. ^^ Group of kids. Running from one place to another and checking out all the abandoned and half built houses. You get to see more than your fair share of crazy thing, saaxib. The only accepted method to deal with such things was to throw stones at them and then run. They all were Indians too.
  11. This news does not shock me like it shockes most readers. I've had the misfortune to see people abusing sheep, hens and even cats in such a disgusting way when I was a kid in good old Sharjah City.
  12. No not FuFu. I saw Fufu typing something on another thread. That one is saving himself for the world cup anyway. I am talking about nuune. Faheema, runta iska sheeg, she is a little islan, isn't she?
  13. Juxa, that's healthy moaning (my condolances on the abti part). Faheema and Ibti usually moan about aches and pains. It's not Faheema's fault. I blame the little islan. Horta where is she today? In fact, forget Ibti for now (she'll arrive sooner or later), where is Mr Jimicsi these days?
  14. ^^ You've been hanging around with that Ibti for far too long. Now you're even starting to moan like her. Get well soon (and it's really afternoon).
  15. ^^ Is Shaakirullah implying that such bombings are wrong? That's a good thing, is it not? I could not read the whole thing, saaxib. It's written like the rant of a Universal TV reporter. Easy to listen to but hard to read.

  18. ^^ You've got to move with the times, dear. In my day, it used to be lucozade in a pint glass.
  19. ^^ It's tradition. You should understand, you come from a qat eating society.
  20. £100? Gurigaaga iska joog, adeer. I agree on the secrets.
  21. We have not had one of those for two years. They keep arguing over the details and when the company finally books a place people make excuses and refuse to attend. The last Christmas party we had was in JULY 2007 (yes, it took them that long to agree the detials).
  22. Convince me of what? As for the second question: dull, lots of bickring and pointless ego clashs (and it's only ten in the morning).
  23. Looks like it's only me here. Morning all.
  24. ^^ Cajiib! Adigu kii ku salaama ba ma qorigaad o cabiisata? War calm down and keep the kaftan going. What goes on PM stays in PM. Hunguri, anako aan is wareesano, saaxib. Do you know a guy by the name of 'Qaaci' who used to live in Liverpool? He's the spitting image of you, saaxib.
  25. ^^ You'll catch up soon, Khayr. Sayid agrees with me he just got upset with my use of the word bigot.
