'Liibaan';828121 wrote: NG, ask me about The Great State of KHaatumo SOmalia. But, Cayn State is reported by Pro-Puntland website, so if you want more information about Cayn State, RasCaseyr State, Bari State, Garowe State, West Puntland State, North Mudug State, ask Ciyaalka Faroole like the thread starter Mr. Puntland. Dee to me, you are the Khaatumo spokesperson (the Osman of SOL if you like) and only if you confirm or deny such internal problems could I comment on this thing (you don't expect me to listen to young Somalia, do you?) Anyway, for now, this thing sounds like a storm in a tea cup. Lets watch how it develops.

^^ Adna malaa xafladu Che sheegayay baa ka so noqotay. How was Farmaajo? Showqi, had you said Khaatumo, I would have agreed with you but there is nothing to show discontent in Awdal other than a couple of parties in your home city, saaxib. Naga daa dee, if people were against SL nobody in the world could stop them. Mise Buur Madow ayaa ka wada gaysiisan? Naga daaya dee.

You think I don't know about the regression in Somali urbanization of the last twenty years when there was next to no government/foreign investment in infrastructure or renewal projects? Fact remains that Mogadishu before the war was the cleanest city in Africa, and one of the most beautiful, and it will reclaim all these titles in the next five years, and that has nothing to do with dreaming, it's logic. I will be part of the rennaissance. Seeing is believing, adeer. I don't want you to imagine or, like a clannist boasting about his great grandad, hark to the past, I want you to see it with your own eyes first. After that, and going by the principle that dreams are free, you can apply your own brand of "logic" whichever way you like.

^^ Adiga horta you must visit the place to wake you up from this crazy dream you're living. I promise that it will be very healthy for you. War even H town that is supposed to be peaceful and progressive is going to shock you to your core.

^^ Early days, saaxib. London was a precedent and the same "concessions" are likely to be made again for SL. Turkey, certainly, does not want to be looked upon as a lesser "power" to that of the UK. They'll pull all the stops to get SL to particapate. Simple diplomatic horse trading really.

Dr Osman is singing 'ku dayo' with a sad voice today. (warya, envey is evil).

Xaaji X, Showqi ha la yaabin dee. Xafladihi Toronto iyo dadka badan ka qayb galay ayaa ka yaabiyay!

^^ Yes. Yes. We realise there are noble goals sought by Turkey and the International Community with regards to Somalia. But what exactly is hoped to be achieved by 2015? Is it progress in governance and peace or more far reaching goals? Are there no leaks about this conference and its agenda yet?

Carafaat;828052 wrote: XX, they will agree. SOL is ideologicly loaded and is filled with kids who think they know politics. Real governance and public adminstration is based on mutual interest rather then someone's beliefs. Showqi, adna maad ku darsatay kuwii tulooyinka kala qeybin jiray. cid kala goiysa ayaa iska yar. Someone forgot to share that fact with Greece!

^^ Alxamduliallah iska dheh. This is A&T we're talking about.

I shall await Liibaan's fifty posts and four hundred photos before I comment on this topic.

Garnaqsi;828023 wrote: On the contrary, I think the argument was somewhat justified when the south was burning. I'm afraid I can't think of any good cases for secession given a peaceful and stable south (provided there is some assurance that this will last, of course). I assume you can? It's not so much that I can't think of "any good cases for secession", it is that I do not at all view things the way you do. Justifications would have made sense twenty or ninteen years ago but, today, the whole thing is a fact that you need to get your head around and find ways to seduce the north again like you did in the 60s. Wax fahan.

From your point of view it was (probably) not even justified when Somalia was still burning, saaxib. But this recent peace in Somalia probably gives you a chance to argue with a slightly stronger argument. Thing is though, those in SL don't even entertain such an argument. I don't envy those that will have to mediate between the two sides when the time for talking starts. Poles apart.

This is the theme for the Istanbul Conference that will take place in Turkey at the end of this month (not that long to go really). But what are these goals and are they achievable? In addition, the title there says 2015! What exactly is the significance of that year? Is the post transition government going to be one that runs for three years? Doesn’t the new constitution last for seven years? Any ideas, people?

^^ What charity? The foundation for the rehabilitation of former Somali PMs? Naga daaya dee.

Heh@cake room. Take a picture of that place for me please. I would love for Juxa & Faheema to see it.

I got a bad cold on Thursday. It seems to have gone now. But, in between, I had an upset stomach! Where is Dr Ibti to tell me if this is kaneeco or not?
-
^^ I am. I would love to meet this delightful corpse. (really I would).

^^ I wont agree with you. If we get players it will be to improve the squad, saaxib. The first team only (really) lacks a playmaker that can calm all these guys down. As for Downing's crosses, the point is that he GETS to make the crosses and the understanding with the strikers is not there there (not a surprise for an entirely new team). I have no problem with him or Carroll (who showed you on the weekend that he's far from being a lump). All these guys are proven players in the PL and have been good before and will be good again. Bahasha baro and don't go with what the silly "pundits" say.
-
^^ Someone hoped it would be.

$30 a ticket times 300 guests = $9000. A good return for a lot of hot air methinks.
-
^^ Waliga kubbad ma baranaysid ninyaho. All we need is a playmaker (and maybe, just maybe an extra winger). Downing is not a headless chicken. In fact, if we are going to talk about the qualities of an English winger, what would you say their most important quality should be? Hug the touchline and fire crosses? Beat his man? Well, Downing has done both (guess what team in the PL made the highest number of crosses!). War bahasha baro. Sometimes, when it does not work, it does not always mean that everything is wrong. Indhaha fur.

^^ I'm glad you agree now. Our season has been a dissapointment when it comes to how we finished but I am still impressed with the way we played and the efforts the players put in. Looking forward to next season already.
