  1. I expect A&T to arrive any minute now with a rephrased song lyric of Nimco. I, of course, disagree with Zack & Ibti.
  2. ^^ Same to you and double happy to you. ** pulls Ibti's hair really hard **
  3. ^^ It's not a corner shop, saaxib. Even if he was behind Al Shabab, it would not have been him personally in direct contact with that group. Talk sense dee.
  4. ^^ Dee adigu taada waa run, aniga I'm merely fantasasing. Get out of my dreams with your messy cakes.
  5. ^^ Dee do a re-scan. It's free to air.
  6. ^^ United need to get their defenders back quick or they may be left behind. They're already SIX points behind Chelsea.
  7. ^^ I wouldn't trust him.
  8. ^^ Nothing. Just hinting that a game was played last night and that a "rare thing" took place. Tonight's game is on ITV 4 so don't go driving yourself mad trying to find it on SKY or ESPN.
  9. Damn Norf & Jb; they got me talking about my big belly on the day that Malika was visiting my local area. No chance of arranging an A&T style shukaanis now. :p
  10. ^^ Early days, saaxib. The new season is here and football is back on our tellies. All's well with the world. Torres scored for Chelsea last night and Liverpool are playing tonight. Get in!
  11. ^^ That's your interpertation of it, saaxib (one which I subscribe to) but a "rudeboy's" idea of self worth it totally different. It is also what gets them in trouble all the time. It's why such oafs always worry about being "disrespected"!
  12. ^^ The last time I had barees or baasto, you were sitting across the table from me. Heh.

It's the "sense of worth" that gets them to fight and kill each other. Still, considering the alleged killer is already a criminal, it is not much of a story really (despite the sad death).
  14. ^^ Waxba lama socotid, Juxaay. I'm actually being starved to help me lose the belly. An idea (mind you) that I did not come up with or approve.
  15. It can only be a new word if I understood its meaning, Juxa. Norf, no I actually lost weight but the belly, as you just discovered and I always knew, does not go away. Of course, one thing that works is nuune's jimicsi. Just make sure you suck it all in as you do your power walking. Heh. Jb, A&T was complaining about that a while back. He said that he can manage to lose the big tummy but that the process also gets rid of his cheeks (the face ones).
  16. Why do I get the feeling that Norf & Jb anigay i xamanaayan?
  17. ^^ See what I told you in that other thread? It's a none story and it was to be expected from any politician worth his salt.
  18. ^^ Not to Che. You want Che on your side, dangle a couple of emotional words against Ethiopians and he's all yours (Shabab, Macalin or even Lucifer himself).
  19. ^^ An O man saying bad things about Ehtiopians? Shocking stuff!

In North Korea, the "dear leader" was in control of the media and all government institutions. He had the tools to tell the people whatever he liked. One of which was that he was the best leader they could ever have. If you're not given room to dissent, how could you know any better? Humans are emotional beings and it's easy to manipulate them. Remember how Somalis got excited about Sheikh Sharif? How many before that (or the fallout in Somalia) were besotted with aabihi garashada?

I believe that the North Korean's themselves were genuine when they cried for their dear leader. Don't underestimate the power of brainwashing, saaxib.
  22. ^^ You make it sound like the ten or twenty that have not been approved are the ones that would have won it for him! There are 215 MPs in that parliment. The fact that they are "educated" will not stop them from making choices that are beneficial to their clans (and on a seconadry level, their own visions). It all depends on who will look like winning and if it is their man of choice. If they don't get their man in place they'll be forced to choose the best of a bad bunch. And, of course, when all is said and done, there are those that will be happy to sell their votes regardless of any other considerations. Marka don't discount Sheikh Hotel for now,he has not check out yet.
  23. ^^ Which is how the support of outside forces may play a part here. It is also why I think the hopeless Sharif will keep his job.
  24. I am now convinced that these guys only do that to fill their cars with petrol then go back to the original cause.
