Has anyone here ever considered going overseas to teach English? Better yet, has anyone here ever worked abroad as an English teacher =)
I spent some time in Taiwan last year and it was the best decision I've made! All you need is a degree and an open mind.
What do you guys think of Somalis going abroad to teach English?
English Teachers abroad?

Honestly (from what I've seen) it's so easy to go to Asia once you've set your mind to it. The demand is soooo high and there are a lot of companies out there (mostly run by former teachers who know the business) who will do the work for you and find you a school. Better yet, a lot of schools these days recruit themselves by coming to job fairs in your city or posting job notices online.
I'm not a trained teacher but I would love to go to Africa and teach English! Somalia, Sudan and Egypt would be my top choices =) For obvious reason though I would love to go back to Somalia and teach!
I mean going to another country, a country other than the one you're living in =)
That's an amazing idea for sure! I was in somalia for two months right after graduating and I couldn't believe how eager the kids were to learn English! They kept coming up and asking me to translate different somali words into english and then they'd memorize it and come back for another word =)
