I totally agree, I thought I was the only one who thought that. I wouldn't want to speak ill of our SOL girls but desperation is at a all time high here it seems. I believe there are other more "tasteful" and "tactless" methods of achieving erm...whatever it might be that you girls want or are after here.
    :D

Please don't attack me girls for speaking the truth...I think I need Muna's help!

I being the person who started this topic, isn't quite into fighting macda, but let me tell u one thing, u r just being a somali. The first thing that hits our brain is negative thoughts only. I am not gonna hold it against u believe me, I have it in me too... but one little advice before u jump to judge ask wat brought it up? U might be fascinated or even enlightened by the reasons behind it.

  2. ^^ couldn't agree more..

Rahima When I talk about the house chores being the duty of the women, the implication is dat the man works outside and she is a stay at home. Nonetheless, if its like it in the West, mind you alot of women in UAE work as well, then the house chores is a shared responsibility. I would never let my husband, sit around at home while I did the same work he did outside. Never. But if I was a stay at home wife, then surely I would have everything ready before he even got there. I hope its clear now.

By the way, in Islam, a muslim woman should never leave the house without her husband with her, so even if I was a stay at home wife, I would tell him to do the grocery shopping and everytime i felt like going out... I would tag him along :D:D , believe me by the time I was done with him, he would beg to share the house chores :D

  3. I still don't think its the man's work to do the house chores.. but I think its his duty to do that when his wife is ill or pregnant. Or if he just wants to help when she is tired... but I believe there is no need for a law to decide the private affairs.

  4. Well am just glad that everyone is like me....

LZ: U r just kinky....but I sill enjoy your humor ...that was funny. Mr cuddler... bal inta aan boombale naf ka raadinaayo maan kiiyoo nool soo raadsado.. ileen baryahaan dambe... ragu waa for sale le.

Xafsa, when I get a baby I will make sure I use ur birth control...

Baashe: Its not for him, its for me.. I love it. But he can enjoy while it lasts... :D

Walaahi for some weird reasons, when I do all of that I sleep better when I pamper myself...the other times that my work wears me...& the jacburis is done... walaahi I toss n turn whole nite..

  5. Do you gurls pamper urself before you go to sleep? I mean actually take a shower, perfume urselves, wear sexy lingiries, and all of that for urselves. No impressing of man....just yourself. I do that all the time. Am I freak or do you gurls share dat?

Guys you can also share if u do that :D

  6. Animal Farm, I never treated any man who approached me bad, regardless of how rusty his approach was. The worst I said to a man is , " Walaalkiis iga qaleey." But yet I end up being treated bad, now tell me where I am doing it wrong??

Bisharo Seriously I would give u one advice, live your life. Men are nothing but headache. If I was you I won't waste a breathe thinking of them. They come and go just like seasons.. so enjoy it while it lasts. And Allah SWT ayaaba kuu qoray before u were even born who u r to marry... so why worry macda?

For The Record I am not dating anyone rite now, but I do have guys all around me...so dat I don't miss it. ( There are times though, I feel like I want someone, but then I have formed a habit to keep me occupied)

What does history matter if you have a bleak present and no future?
U have a bleak present and no future if the passport u carry defines who u r. By that I mean, if u consider urself Swedish, Dutch, Danish, American, Canadian, British etc...simply because they handed u their passports... If you however carry those passports to make ur traveling means easier, but when asked wat is ur nationality, the first thought that hits ur mind and comes out of your mouth is " Somali" then u do have a present and a brighter future.

I see the War in Somalia as a positive thing, unlike most people. Seriously if we look at it, we were sleeping before the war. We might have had basic infrastructure but it wasn't one that was gonna give us a bright future. Now I think we are better equipped with knowledge of both Worldly and divinely to serve our purpose here on earth.

  8. ^^ u were not supposed to alter the topic... No attacks.. its just a description... deal with it.. and ur ignore list just kicked me out.. so where u gonna take me...

Who knows a thing about me? Legend of Zu said, I was mature and commited.. which kind of scared him... anyone else wants to have a go at it??
