^^^I'm not fuzzed about either to be honest, they are both very very poor at the moment, although one is clearly better than the other (for which I'm happy for them) but other than that I just wanted to see those big boys take back their words and know that in Somali politics you can never be so sure (like they were) because it will just turn and bite your a*ss off. P.s. They were clearly concerned with what an “non existent” country can and cannot do, and laid their words on it, now they need to come out and eat it. Because that "non-existant" country is doing what they said they were going to do!

^^Cry me a river. what is the big deal, miscarriage of justices happens all the time, 15days is nothing when compared to 28days you get just for being a Msulim  Jboy: You better be prepared to present you evidence against those allegations, don’t ruin my reputation, I’m hoping to work for the MI5, “virtual jihadist and virtue-gestapo” kulaaha North: What do you mean "Too lenient!" what exactly is she being punished for? Lool @ Cadaan, I hope you are joking? right!

^^Maybe, but I want to hear it from them, maxaa kaa gaal adgia, nimakas ayan laa hadlya. I'm just thinking I should've made a bet with them back then, I would have been rich now!

^^^careful dear, look left & right! Khaina: The loud ones are the nicest, be ware of the deadly silent once. You will never run into a loud bubbly killer. Personally I like Jamaicans, I grew up around them, so they don’t intimidate me, pluz they are nice people and they speaking their mind which is refreshing.

^^^Actually from what I remember it was Pharaoh's knowledge which allowed him to enslave baanu Israil and which allowed him to reach new highest of arrogance, claiming to be "God" etc. He knew there was a God, but he made mocker of the signs sent down simple because his people where simple minded enough for him to manipulate. But then I get your point about the magicians who believed as they can tell the difference between the fake they created and the miracle. P.s. Natural knowledge without biased social norms is nearly impossible!

No, only 35mins (unless we just sit in the tunnel (which happens often) but if I get a seat, I have to read something to stay awake, otherwise I'm sleeping in minutes! (but most of the time I don’t want to read anymore) Lol

History of ideas is written by the winners, it is for Muslims to preserve and teach the developers of these ideas. Furthermore where these Islamic scholars may have had the initially ideas, no one used it or developed it, and hence when a western borrowed those same ideas and developed them, they can lay claims to it. One of the examples I can think of is the so called great Adam Smith… It was not his idea Documentation of ideas and developments is very important. There is no point trying to reinvent the wheel or cling to the past. Muslim scholars need to do the same, build on and develop existing ideas, rather this rejectionist approach to anything western that they have adopted. Isaac Newton copied most of his work, but I get the point you are making. But I don't agree that knowledgeable people fear God the most, not only is it relative, but they are probably the most arrogant.

More like annoying, Issh it is bugging me now! and I'm scared of bumping into him, I might have to change my route home. For sure I won't be falling asleep anywhere after this!

^^I did not (I checked) and he can't be, I've never seen him before.

On my way home after a long day at university and then dinner, I sat on the train and dropped off to sleep almost immediately (the train always seems to rock me to sleep, most of the time I can resist the urge to go to sleep!) . Well next I knew, some one was tapping me lightly. I work up slowly, raised my head from my pillow, only to realise it is a board shoulder, when I looked up, I was face to face with this Farax. Now I was puzzled, so for a second I just kept staring at him, then I saw his lips move... Oh he is speaking, "What" I said, spring back to my own seat! Slowly and clearly trying to hold back his laughter he repeated "you are going to miss your stop" then it all dawned on me, I remembered getting on the train. At the moment the doors opened and I jumped off trying to hold my books, bag and jacket off my lap and out of the door with out dropping anything. Once I was safely outside the carriage I looked back and there sat the farax in absolutely stitches. It only hit me then that I had no idea who the hell he was...I looked at the stop I was at thinking he must have played an evil trick on me, and no it was my stop! So Now I'm puzzled; how on earth did he know that it was my stop? Oh well, I did not even get to say thank you for being my pillow and for waking me up. How embarrassing hopefully I won't see him again.

Just Looking it at from a different perspective, we (here in Britain) are in no place to criticise others, we live in a country where people get 7years in Prison for writing poems or visiting certain sites. I wonder what would happen a Muslim female teacher was to tell her primary school kids (here in the UK) that she thinks Jihad is good? I guess Freedom of speech will not save her and those remarks would have been used and abused by the government, same way the Sudanese are doing it. Before you all jump down my throat, I am aware that a innocent child naming a bear after and this been used to justify imprisonment of someone is not a valid comparison, but I am just saying that, they are both as bad as each other. As for been detained, million Muslims are detained in the West (and in the UK proposed 3months) on mere suspicion, so we really are not one to talk. Lool @ Zafir. Okay
-
^^Zafir loool^^^ HAHAH thanks for the laugh!! hehe Ngonge, I know you are bored...but seriously  It did not annoy me, I just thought been shouted at made him extra paranoid and sensitive. I fear some tears on the bus to be honest @ zafir
-
^^^^I was not insinuating that at all, I just meant it is an odd way to try and help someone understand something by shouting abuses at them. To be honest I don't think I even read your statement before writing my reply.

@ Jimcalee North I am calm, I would just like to see you being well balanced!! Dear Sharmarkee To Ghanima, Islam is revelation, inspiration, legalization and scripture, so many millions love and respect and look up to it, but if any one here in SOL is bright, highly educated, and superstar in the mindset, well organized and atheist or whatever, and don’t believe anything of that kind its all well and good, BUT please let that person don’t denigrate Islam , Muslims or their believes, for that cleverone, let me say to him/her when you feel hungry you will eat, when you feel tired you will go to sleep, and when your life is finished you will die, Then "Sa turuduuna ila caalimal qaybi wa shahaadah, thuma yuni bi’akum bima kuntum tacmaluun – so you will turm back to the world of seen and unseen and you’ll be told what you have done in the earlier Life. So far so good This place needs people with hard core convictions like Alle-U-Baahane, No no no, this place and any place needs educated, well balanced informed and more specifically manner, composed individuals, who can relate, communicate and tolerate all walks of people. and for your information am not a daaci or a preacher I don’t have that knowledge, am still recalling little things I learned when I was young. I did not ask you to be a daaci, what I did say was that Kashafa was out of line and you should not egg him on, you can see he is out of line, correct him or don't comment. But inshaAllah one day I will be real daaci but also we all need to enjoin the good and forbid the evil don’t you agree with me inaaar. Inshallah, ameen and I hope you will be a good "real" one!

Shumey Good luck. No you do not need a visa, nor will you need your boots, leave your high heels as well. Flat comfortable shoes/ trainers will be fabulous. The weather will be nice, bit cold (specially during the night (need light jumper during the day) Slow internet, but phone connection is good and you should be able to sue your Somali SMI card for your mobile. Food and everything is very very cheap Depending on how of you there are you can rent a house. Flights ( heard plans land on the beach?? not sure if that is still the case) you can via Hargisa and check out some of the country on the way home. Oh and as for saftey, currently safe and stable but uncertainty in a lawless country is always a cause of concern. It would be nice if you knew someone there, so look around for contacts. Somali people are generally very helpful in any case. Good luck and let us know how it goes. P.s. what will you be doing?

^^^^I always thought it was slang for stingy or tight, I clocked on recently that it is an insulting thing based on some hear say about their forefathers or something.
