  2. duke, funny stuff, at least Somaliland puts resources there, we even took water to your clansman in las anod. That is what i call human decency. looooooooool. Forget Somaliland saxib we can take care of our affairs, maybe you should go to your parties and make a collection to buy water tankers for the impoverished people of bari who know there is no such thing as puntland.
  3. looooooooool, i think 18 may celebrations really got to them, this is almost funny. Watching all those pictures every year, they thought it was demoralizing so they said "lets just do what we do, copy somaliland". Did you see that party. there was like 1 dude there. looooooooool. The one in nairobi was funny too. looooooooool, enjoy. But i really dont know what your celebrating, is it independence, did you remove a dictator? has there been any real development? i dont think so. looooooool, just know that the somali flag to me is the Nazi flag. looool.
  4. And another thing, duke, stop smoking weed bro. Puntland has the least amount of land of any region other than djibouti. You control bosaso, garowe and north galkacyo and these cities are small and are all of the same clanman. Somaliland control from the very border of Djibouti: Awdal: Loa Cado, Ziella,Borame,Dilla, Bon. Saxil: Berbera,Bulaxaar, mad eera, Hargaisa: Hargaisa city, Salaxley,Baligubadle ,Gabiley,Aw barkdle, Dacar Buruq, Arabsio, Sheick Togdheer: Burco, Xaji Salax,Odweyne,Bali dig Sanag: Erigavo, maid,Xies, Las korey, Sool: las canod, Caiynabo (which is larger that las canod), Oog ETC..... you gotta smell the coffee duke, the truth will set you free saxib. Somaliland borders three nations, Djibouti,Ethiopia and Somalia.
  5. Ok, people.... listen up brothers and sisters, i'll point out one flaw in the somali concept of federation. Firstly, when the truth is told Somalia and Somaliland were two seperate countries we united and created the Somali republic. Correct? Any sane thinking human being who knows anything about history would not argue with this. So its federation we are talking about, a federation of Somaliland and Somalia or of a newly created entity that is 8-9 years old. See Somalia and Somaliland are about 80-90 years old as countries, what gives puntland the same right as Somaliland and Somalia? Thats one question? Another question that destroys the case of federalism is the reality that Somaliland wants its borders I.E. the borders of 1960 including las anod, including las qorey. This is not excepted by other Somali's, so even the borders of a federal future state will be disputed leading to, i.e. war, further destruction and suffering for more people. So, with this realisation, some may see Somaliland as an extreme stance, but when you really think about it, total independence is the only way out of our troubles.
  6. looooooooooooooooooo ol, good stuff!! i new this was the case but many didnt see it.
  7. i think your both delusional, but good luck anyway. i think somali's have competed for scarce water for far to long? loooooooool, were all mentally screwed up. The reason why meji is argueing for a strong central government is because his kinsman run mugdisho giving him power over all in Somalia. The reason why duke wants federalism is because he wants his mini state and central government power too and by having puntland that gives him more power to have a bigger share in a central government. The only people to have escaped this circle wether you realise it or not is Somaliland and the simple for independence is simple, because i have the legal right to and i want to control my own affairs, i dont want to dominate puntland or somalia. I simply dont care, i just want to be in charge of my own affairs. plain and simple.
  8. I think this is just another ploy to be like the big boys on the block, I would call puntland, imitation land. In my view the problems revolving around Somalia are to complex that the people of bari have realised that Somalia is pretty much dead and buried, so these latest innitiatives wether it is hyping up false "national" pride or changing its name are just simply the realisation that puntland is alone and that the desired objectives of regenerating Somalia and returning to mugdisho are dead and buried. However i personally believe that this is the worst option for puntland right now, wether you call yourself puntland state or mamul gobleed, its still the same thing, bosaso, garowe and half of galkacyo. its a pretty much equivilant to one region anyways, not a real state. Puntland however has no legal basis to become independent, Somaliland can wait 10-15-20 years regardless, it will get it because it has a sound legal basis seeing that it was already a country in 1960 which 32 countries recognised including the U.N. the question that puntlanders have to ask themselves is, if Somalia stays in its current limbo and Somaliland gets recognition what ever the time line, what will be the fate of puntland?
  9. I dare you to send your army to las anod. Its one thing bragging its another thing to have substantial military power, i know for a fact that the Somaliland army would make them run like chickens. loooooooooooooooool. ... Anyways.... good luck for the next year, hope the drought and all the other problems get cleared up at least your trying, that cant be said for other areas of Somalia.
  10. Duke you claim Puntland is a democracy right? can you name me one official political party in puntland and whats the oppision party named?
  11. This is a poll designed just to determine how long most people believe it will take Somalia to find peace. Somalia is going into the 19th year without peace and stability, which are the basic requirements of any state.
  12. I really really wanna go to brazil and i have never been, just wanted to know wether any of you guys have been their? 18. like i said, buying water pumps and food would have been better, than competing and imitating something you could never be. Somaliland. I dont have to say mumal gobled, dowlada somaliland. In our parts we dont give a dam. JAMHURYIADA SOMALILAND. JAMHURI ARDUL SOMAL, THE REPUBLIC OF SOMALILAND. plain and simple.
  19. NAIROBI, Kenya — The Shabab, Somalia’s most fearsome Islamist group, the one leading a guerrilla war against the weak transitional government, may be running into a problem with its cash flow. In the past week, Shabab rebels have seized two French security advisers originally captured by a different band of Somalian gunmen, and now they are widely suspected of another kidnapping on Saturday morning along the Kenya-Somalia border. “They need money,” said one Western diplomat, who spoke on the condition of anonymity, citing diplomatic protocol. “It’s a fact.” Another fact: kidnapping is one of the few money-making industries left in shattered Somalia. According to a new posting on a Somalian insurgent Web site, the Shabab will soon try the Frenchmen in an Islamic court. And though the Shabab’s brand of justice often involves amputations and even beheadings, the Web site said that in this case, commanders were considering a “fine,” a signal that they may be after money more than blood. While Somalia’s transitional government got a 40-ton pile of guns and ammunition from the United States in June, the Shabab’s outside support may be slowing down. Kidnapping has been a lucrative business in Somalia for years, but now more than ever. The country’s central government imploded in 1991, and ever since then marauding gangs, warlords, teenage street fighters and various Islamist factions have scrambled for power and money. Pirates off Somalia’s coast netted tens of millions of dollars last year alone, seizing ships and ransoming back the crews. These days, the few foreigners who enter Somalia need platoons of gunmen to make sure they are not the next victims. At a meeting last week with reporters in Paris, Claude Guéant, chief of staff for the French president, was asked if the kidnapping of the two French security advisers, who were snatched from their Mogadishu hotel on Tuesday, was a “money issue.” Mr. Guéant answered that “it was likely” to be one. 20. Puntland: Karkaar region severly effect by Drought July 30, 2009 · Comments (3) By: Ali Osman Horseed Media On Thursday, a press release by Puntland authorities called for more aid from the international community and aid agencies in drought effected areas, in Karkaar region. Osman Buh, the Mayor of Gardo city, the regional capital, told Horseed Media, that lack of water is severely effecting the livelihoods of many pastoral people and also people in major towns including, Gardo city. “…most of the water wells are drying up,… the equipment in water wells are rusty ….while we still endure the prolonged drought in the region….” Said Osman Buh, adding that there was no sufficient waterfall from the latest G’u rain-season, putting more pressure on the remaining water wells in Gardo. Eng.Abdi Said Osman, the manager of HODMAN, water company in Gardo, says there is lack of equipment in most water stations. Eng.Abdi, told Horseed Media that they were doing what they could, to supply water to the thousands of cattle and pastoral people coming from other drought effected regions. But he says there is simply no enough water for everyone. “….the main water station used to produce 60M3 per day,…now it is down to 40M3 per day. while the need is much higher up to 120M3 per day…” says Eng.Abdi, manager of Hodman water company. Earlier this year, the Food Security Analysis Unit of the UN Food and Agriculture Organization (FAO/FSAU) for Somalia warned that drought-affected populations in Somalia, faced a continuing deterioration in their food security and nutritional situation as a result of the unusually prolonged and harsh dry ‘Jilaal’ season. 21. The article said many things that were true, but also stated some other things that i never encountered during my brief time there. The airport of bosaso when i went there 6 months ago on my way to hargaisa by mistake, because of some guy. I saw distitution, huge levels of poverty, in all honoustly bosaso is smaller than burco and its this state thats trying to play with the big boys of the horn of africa. If i stayed in bosaso for 4 days i myself could have colonised it, and in my opionion puntlands existance is do primarly to Somaliland love of peace and its desire to stick to its border. But i honoustly believe that that should come to an end and Somalia should forever be a colony of Somaliland. We should just take the whole thing forever. VOTE: VOTE FOR INA AAR, the Somaliland ambassador at large. THE ULTRANATIONALISTS. ( WE WILL TAKE OVER SOMALILAND, WETHER WE ARE MEMBERS OF UDUB,UCID OR KULMIYE).
  22. Jacaylbro i used to ask myself why you end your contribution with never argue with an *****. But now i know why. Its seems that Rudy is standing at the airports counting the people who have gone this year, looooooooooool. From the families that i know i am probably the only one who hasnt gone and that because i was there for 6 months and just returned a month ago. loooooooool. In the case of child registeration, looooooooooool. These people think its Europe, this is Africa and you will always incounter human error and i dont doubt that in some cases it probably happened, but its very funny how they try to knock us down continuesly even though what we have achieved they could never achieve in the next 100 years, so keep going, As my good friend Fredrich Nietizhche argued, what doesnt kill me makes me stronger. Your hatred of me and my country makes me want to be independent even more. looooooooooool.
  23. DELLUSIONAL....... looooooooooooooooooo oool. Since when did puntland become the mother of Somalia it was created 9 years ago. if it Somalia must be one pathetic country.
  24. Alshabab - tell them to bring it on. There are daily randum searches, all government, financial and most venues of importance have round blocks, arm gaurds. I for one was in hargaisa for 6 months and one night took the wrong road behind the president palace and me and my friend from london nearly got shot, they shoot like 8 bullets at us and we were thrown in jail for 10 hours. So i know better than most what the situation is like. bring it on, i think its time we go to mugdisho or hire our own terrorist group man. lets supply and fund ahlul sunna wal jamaca we gotta play tit for tat.
  25. It sounds like...you guys are getting closer to seperation every day, dowlad gobleed, dowleed puntland, etc. Its just a name, the reality is Duke your still a little kid who hasnt been to africa, maybe you should go and see what puntland is. Like a devoted follower of a cult, you only realise your mistake when everyone else drinks the cool-aid. loooooooooooooool.
