Both are deemed to be offensive and against our culture. We dont want to become a second Jabuuti, a country with western norms and ideals. I agree, the police should've tazed them for disturbing the peace:D
  4. 25/08/2013 An Irish Muslim woman has been harassed for praying in a park in Dublin with a friend after a security worker asked them to end their prayers "in case they break their backs". "We were praying peacefully. We were not chanting or causing any disturbance to the public,” the woman, named Sajida, told Irish newspaper The Independent. “Then he honked his horn and told us we needed a permit to pray," she said. The case occurred last Thursday when a security worker confronted the two women in Griffith Park, Drumcondra, told them they needed a permit to pray. Sajida, a mother-of-three, said she was still "deeply hurt" by the incident. "He told us to stop. I felt harassed and intimidated," she said. The employee works for Security firm Manguard Plus which has a contract with Dublin City Council to provide a warden service at the park. As the news went viral, the company boss decided to suspend the worker, rejecting his comments. "I have lived in the Middle East so I know how important prayers are to people who practice this faith,” company boss Bill Brown said. “We completely condemn our worker's actions,” he said. http://www.independent.ie/irish-news/muslim-woman-who-was-told-not-to-pray-in-park-fears-others-face-hurtful-abuse-29521697.html

There is no sanctity of life in islam, that is amply clear from its sources. its a marshal and militant religion. violence, thuggishness and brutality have been at its core since it inception. LOL, that's why I guess the biggest war mongers on the planet happens to be USA, and Israel the home of Islamic idealogy and knowledge.

  10. All apart of the plan, first Syria and then onto the final stage IRAN. Despite Assad being a dictator, he would not be idiotic enough to gas these people with the UN right there, That's suicide, I would not be surprised if Israeli special ops did this. They have recently been on record bombing Syria with their planes
  11. Martin Luther King Jr. - "Free at last, Free at last.." Egypt court orders Mubarak released The ruling on Wednesday does not mean Mubarak will be immediately released: He will remain in prison for at least 48 hours pending a possible appeal by prosecutors, judicial sources said. That could clear the way for Mubarak's release later this week; he will likely be taken to the resort city of Sharm el-Sheikh, where he keeps a villa. http://www.aljazeera.com/news/middleeast/2013/08/201382151326789174.html

The people in Al Fatah mosque will either be all arrested or killed today. Sad, sad, situation. For those that when a hardship befalls, they say To Allah we belong and to Him We will return. Saud is a coward, he fears his subjects overthrowing him just as Mubarak was. As for the Al-Azhar "sheikhs" that condemned the demonstrations, they are few and are known as a joke in Egypt. The majority of Scholars are with the people. Asinine, in a Muslim country to ban their way of life is insulting. This is the myth of democracy, as long as Islam doesn't come to power it is the ideal model. But the fallacy here is given a fair election an Islamic government will always be elected.by a Muslim majority

  22. Haatu;973495 wrote: Please don't post images like that. Subhanallah. People in Masar should take the advice of the Prophet and stay in their homes in times of fitnah and defend themselves there . The Messenger of Allah (SAW) told us that the greatest of the shuhada is the one who speaks a truthful word to a tyrant and is killed for it. But the ones who lack any ilm and fiqh would say, "Had he not said those words, he wouldn't have been killed." Beautiful Ayah that reflects this Thus, they said, “Is anything up to us?” Say, “Everything is up to Allah.” They concealed inside themselves what they did not reveal to you. They said, “If it was up to us, none of us would have been killed in this battle.” Say, “Had you stayed in your homes, those destined to be killed would have crawled into their death beds.” Allah thus puts you to the test to bring out your true convictions, and to test what is in your hearts. God is fully aware of the innermost thoughts. - [Qur’an 3:154]

And I can understand and imagine that these pictures are deemed to be shocking and some even dont want them to be posted, specially for those who supported the military coupe and the war on muslism. This is why I love Twitter, no one can censure the news if everyone who has a cellphone camera can be a reporter
