  1. You are like a wall. During Abdullahi Yusuf's time, they had power, today they have no power, why do we need them? Do you think they would have been used if they didn't have power? The ones that did not want to give up the capital for the government? Also, if Abdullahi Yusuf AUN was alive today, he'd probably tell you himself that not warlords but 'people like me' should not get elected. It's time to move on.

But their time is over, this is a permanent civil government. Also what ever happens at a regional government is not my business, this is federal Somalia, Galmudug can elect whoever they want but we are talking about the Federal Republic of Somalia here.
  5. You don't want Somalia to come back that is why you support this and these moryaan people will eat your words, I am wondering why for 20 years you never took advantage of it and gained your independence through legitimate ways. Lets hope whoever is elected will deal with this stuff.
  6. Khiyaano bii ku soo galeen, no one was expecting them, that's why Sheikh Shariif was happy/smiling when he came in and sat at the front after Jawaari's speech. It is also the reason why Constitutional Minister Xoosh was angry and he was taken out and he came in again.
  7. XAABSADE PLEASE SIT THE HELL DOWN MAN! God help us all.
  8. DUMB MORYAAN MPs "Xaabsade fadhiiso" I mean what the hell, Somalia is so dead

  11. Yaa allah, shaydaankaan 0.5 ah yaa naga qabta, he is very biased. He removed this picture from his website. I would pay him to compare waxqabadkii Badbaado Qaran compared to Tayo.
  12. 1 cabinet seat, that's what you are giving me in expense of the top 2 seats? Fatal mistake.

I thought he was Muslim? If he's Muslim then we can't be against it, of course I believe in separation of races but I also believe in personal responsibility. I wouldn't personally give away my daughter nor would I allow such marriage to take place if I had the power to stop it and it involved any Somali girl.
  14. I don't think the pic is real but so what if he did, to consenting adults marrying, what am I missing here?
  15. This is the video description. A camera crew follows the lives of a nomadic community in the Jariban district of Mudug, Puntland.
  16. He's good, he has my online vote.
  17. I'm pretty aware of Abdi Iley and what he did to get to the 'top' post in the region, his actions were mostly continuous, I agree with you, they should withdraw troops back to their bases and border posts. And ONLF should unlike last time it was a legitimate political party start developing the region, economically, politically and militarily before passing an independence referendum so it has something to batter with.
  18. Abtigiis;866049 wrote: Shar'ma arke, that is not the most difficult point. There is an element of risk for both sides when it comes to operationalising any deal. They got to live with the risks but ultimately there got has to some level of goodwill and confidence-building that precede the implementation of the deal. Somalia, it was only you and those who think this war is a war of choice who are amazed by ONLF accepting peace. As you know, the gun is a means to peace not a goal by itself. So, today Ethiopia agreed to sit and discuss the grieviences of the Somalis in Ethiopia. Until now, they were refusing to do that. So, it is a progress regardless of its outcome. The second step is to agree on what to do about those grieviances. Definitely, no side won this war. So, there should be a compromise for no side can dicate its terms. But hopefully that compromise will make life better for the poor and oppressed people of the region. That is what matters! I was wrong in part of what I said, such as me alluding to it being a war of choice, it's clear that the peace Abdi Iley and others settled on isn't enough and shouldn't be. However, I always believed it is a start. I don't think the Ethiopians will ever demilitarize the region, depending on what your version is. But there could be settlements such as moving the capital back, natural resources and partly demilitarize such as only keeping military bases while the state is governed by federal troops.

Hey, talk about Faroole but the oil is definitely there! Just a few more drills man.
  20. Good move by ONLF, war is not the answer now. It is truly the year of the cagdheer people, I wish the people of the region good health and prosperity.
