  2. Dee the real issue here isn’t one of education but what happens afterwards. No one would argue women shouldn’t get an education. Even the guy who asked her that question wasn’t begrudging her an education. The problem is the age old question of women in the workplace. You can’t expect that man to have the same attitude as those who spent a length of time in a place where women working is normal. Where there is an economy, employment laws etc. How long have you been there?
  3. Wonder which of Wadani or UCID Ngonge will now support?
  4. What do you call a daqan celis who has a problem with the daqan? Ibti, I have been in KSA for a week now. The HR team are all women (in a predominantly male environment). Is this ok?
  5. These old guys trying to put me in the same boat. Waar baxa
  6. Thrown in at the deep end. Haven't even had a chance to look for a place to live yet. Bal warama.
  7. Next time you're in Hargaisa or Dubay I hope we meet. Shuyuukh baan kuu geeni.

To me this interpretation/implementation of Federalism is nothing more than a rebranding of the clan divisions. Stop it now! Its only a clan state/entity/fiefdom when it concerns Somaliland
  10. ^Usheeg. Haven't ventured down to xafadihii yet.
  11. Thats more like it The UN Rep flies to Hargaisa and personally apologises for a clerical error on a letter. It doesn't change things either way (and no one says it will/has). But its coverage is warranted however much you try to down play it
  12. ^You don't think a grovelling apology by the UN Somalia Rep for calling SL a region of Somalia in a letter deserves coverage?

The Brits abstaining was a good diplomatic move. France with a big Jewish population voting yes is a surprise. Russia and China voting yes was predictable.
  14. Ibra knew EXACTLY what he was doing. He just needed to execute it correctly and he did which made it spectacular. Oscar's was more routine yes and the chance he would get it right was more in his favour. Any decent player can do what he did. Not many can do what Ibra did. Thats why Ibra's goal is better (wax fahan). Scoring a goal that has a lesser chance of success is better than one that has more of a cance of success (a tap in isn't as good a 30 yard shot which isn't as good as a 30 yard over head kick). Beside, you're inadvertently agreeing with me. May there be peace
  15. So an overhead executed with your back to goal from 30 yeards out is a lesser skill than lobbing the keeper from 30 yards out while facing the goal and the ball is already bouncing? :D War naga daa dee Waa sidaan sheegey. Bahasha waligaa maad ciyaarin
  16. I thought you meant the Oscar goal vs Juve. Do you mean the one vs Shakhtar? If so, that nowhere near as good as Ibra's. The goal was infront of him All goals are opportunistic. Ibra had a picture in his head. He wasn't facing the goal and ad to rely on that picture and excute with enough pace on the ball to get it in. Ask your younger brother and tell me what he things
  17. Nice surprise this morning. Any idea of who voted for and who voted against?
  18. A&T isn't full of gas. Maybe something else but not gas
  19. Erm, Oscar's was just a shot, a good one, but still just a shot from the edge of the box. He didn't set himself up either. He was lucky the ball ended up right where he wanted it. Even if he did mean it, its nowhere near as good as Ibra's (it was a shot ninyow). Suarez's was a great goal which was well executed. Once he managed to control it and bring it down the rest was standard (going around the keeper etc). Ibra's was unique. It required him to move his whole body above his head, get a decent connection then direct it in from 30 yards, Even in park football there are those who could execute all three of the above and those who would try and save them
