Ethiopian Gen. 'slaps Somali President' Ethiopian General Gabre Heard has slapped Somalia's interim President Abdullahi Yusuf Ahmed twice on the face, officials say. The row between President Yusuf Ahmed and Gen. Heard started after the president accused the army general of disobeying the orders given by the Somali government, a Somali official, speaking on condition of anonymity, told the Press TV correspondent in Mogadishu. Irked by the Somali President's remarks, who accused the Ethiopian troops of firing artillery at the Presidential Palace and the government bases, the army general slapped the Somali president on the face. The angry general then swore that he would kill the president and left the room. Following the quarrel, the president called Amison peace keeping troops for security. There is speculation that a conflict could arise between the African Union Mission in Somalia (Amison) and Ethiopian troops. Gen. Gabre has his supporters in the government, including Mogadishu Mayor Mohamed Omar Habeeb and head of the security agency Mohamed Warsamme Darwiish. MRD/RE Source

^^Again, the extent of which is not as bad as Somalis say. Somaalida waad garnaysaaye ha rumaysan 100%. When it comes to telling stories basbaaskoodu is more than that contained in a chicken tikka masaala!

$1.10 - $1.00 = $0.10 no?
-
^^You simply take the good from all sides. East and West. We are lucky in that we are aware of both cultures which makes it alot easier. You are also aware of the bad of both sides and be thankful you are Somali
-
^^We are also told to improve ourselves as individuals and groups for the betterment of the Ummah. In the meantime, one is to pray for those who are oppressed. is there another choice? ps 8:153?
-
^^They are not. A city being westernised is not necessarily a bad thing

*yawns, stretches, yawns again*

^^I would be suprised if it exists to the extent LST stated. Dubai has many faces. Before most western Expats arrived it was home from home for many Indians (and still is). You didnt hear anyone say Dubai is so Indianised.
-
The answer could as easily be $0.10. Trust Cara to complicate things
-
^^One hasnt seen nor heard anything to suggest such things take place.

Don't believe what you hear. Many visitors would attest to that.
