  1. NG, go to brother Cadaan's page. Most Somalis on his friends list are SOLers. Oh yeah, there is also the SOL group.
  2. JB, this deal is not for the benefit of the people as prices will remain low. If it was up to me I wouldn't sell to the khaliijis period! There is corruption involved here so let not simply ignore it ya JB.
  3. ^^Kuwa meeshaa xukuma qaar ba ka yimid magaalo waqooyiga ingriiska ku yaal  So if you need anything let me know
  4. Funny thing is I can't see any avators (don't want people to think I'm on a forum whilst at work dee)
  5. Don't want to leave my job but I'm fed of the bureaucracy, the constant changes and egotistical people. The letter I wrote and sent last week (copied everyone) seems to have worked NG; (you'll get all the gossip there and be prepared to parry oncoming onslaughts). When you decide to go for a walk and a chat
  6. Talking about FB, I have had two friends tell me they know I'm on there as if it's some sort of crime
  7. Ibti, gaajo maaha. They just enjoy to ‘faan’ even during dinner
  8. JB, We all know half of Hargaisa reer Burco ayaa iska leh
  9. Ibti, When invited by a Hargaisaawi (a proper one) the first thing you will be served is a salad then sheeko ayey kugu bilaabayaan. Then soft drinks are brought whilst they still insist on chatting away. Imagine, after a long day, you have someone talking in his usual ‘faan’ way and a plate of salad sitting there! Bal ya usheega horta bariiska iyo hilibka keen and we can talk afterwards with a cuppa?
  10. I’m just playing up to JB’s and reer Hargaisa’s ‘faan’. Ever been invited to eat by someone who is from Hargaisa?
  11. The guy speaks English. Aparently more so in Hargaisa but spoke Arabic in Burco
  12. ^^I know but he has to pull it together sometime. I need to do a quick catch-up on athelics in the next week or so (first week is usually swimming/diving).
  13. So you’re basically looking for an interpretation of how Jews are viewed in that verse alone and/or the whole chapter (Al Baqarah) ? Why not tell us how you interpret it first? I’m sure those Saudi schools taught you well
  14. Ngonge, the Arab guy was shown around by my younger brother
  15. The opening ceremony is on Friday. Always interesting to see how many are competing for Somalia.
  16. Being the ever sportsman ( ) I'm certainly looking forward to some Athletics  Should be interesting to see who represents Somalia or indeed if Somaliland will be participating Mo Farah better do something spectacular to beat the Ethios (about time we beat them). Asafa Powell will beat Tyson Gay for the 100m.
  17. Ng, protest works saxib. It leads to marginalising of those the protest is against thus achieving it's objective.
  18. Its been a windy (but milder) couple of days. Only problem is dust gets in everywhere.
  19. Coupled with teachers/lecturers who ‘know’ better and WALLA! He has a bunch of totally new ape ancestors
  20. "Islam is importing creationism into this country. Most devout Muslims are creationists – so when you go to schools, there are a large number of children of Islamic parents who trot out what they have been taught. Teachers are bending over backwards to respect home prejudices that children have been brought up with. The Government could do more but it doesn't want to because it is fanatical about multiculturalism and the need to respect the different traditions from which these children come." Those kids have no need to be 'enlightened' JB
