  1. wellies? In SL? Ma rooba baa ka da'aaya? Mise you think we're on our way to Glastonbury? Bal warama. Any of you seen the Daily Mail headline today? Quick Alp..., I mean London2010, post it up
  2. Usually provides a couple of good games. They might as well start with the Semis in this tournament. Never has any suprises. Where is A&T for some expert input (Brazil, Brazil and more Brazil)

    TENNIS

Federer and Nadal will go down as two of the greats. Sampras still the king. Wimbledon this year has been great so far.
  4. Yeah like your Zonal Marking explaination
  5. Adigu wax fahan. You're not being reasonable. So there is no leeway, no benefit of doubt, no considering he is a novice? Saaxib, this isn’t the politics of a western country. This isn’t like asking Tory Dave a question in a building 300 years old on a Wednesday morning. This is Somalia. The guys who are supposed to represent the masses have not been groomed through Oxford and Cambridge nor do they have friends in high places. They are ordinary Joe Bloggs thrown into the lions den as it were. It’s understandable they get scratched when other older and wiser lions come to fight.
  6. Keep the sunshine. We need the rain!
  7. ^ ps I will see the old boy next week. Any requests/questions? Peru post in 2013?
  8. ^Dee question him on his policies and any shananigans that may occur but to question why he wasn't the victor in a conspiracy against him conducted by seasoned politicians and external parties without noting is inexperience (6 months he was doing a 9-5 in DC I think) is a tad a unfair.
  9. That was the year before I went. Note: We beat Tuujiye's team 3-0. He thinks we beat them 1-0
  10. ^No he hasn't. He passes sideways and backwards (see the evidence YOU provided)
  11. Bal warama reer shaqaale In the middle of a 'heat wave' I hear
  12. Juxa, I wasn't being judgemental but encouraging others to influence kids in a positive way through various channels. I didn't mention the parents. ps I did my bit when I lived there.
  13. Ilaahay ha u naxaristo. Kids cannot be locked up in their houses. Peer pressure and pride are other factors that lead to gang membership and/or confrontations. It is not just a Somali problem. Things have changed so much so quickly its difficult for society to keep up. Kids need advice on how to try and stay out of such situations. Its tough out there. They need role models. Not famous role models but someone who cares about them and offers his/her advice to them. This can be through a simple chat at the bus stop or running various schemes (sports clubs, careers advice, homeworl clubs etc etc). Every little helps.
  14. The TFG couldn't arrange a cup of tea let alone a meeting with SL, PL and ASWJ
  15. The achievements and new initiatives are many. Even AO has begrudgingly accepted things have changed for the better Will post more...
  16. ^It should. Now go and start the thread
  17. Inspired by: Libaax-Sankataabte;730078 wrote: I captured this yesterday with my iphone while travelling across the prairies. I thought it was cool. The shot would have come out better with my SLR but I didn't bother to stop. A quiet Friday afternoon beside the creek. Dubai, UAE. Poor phone camera doesn't really capture it LST, lets see what you've got
  18. Wednesday's show was great. You've been fired was hilarious
  19. ^Isn't it a tad unfair to expect a man, an ordinary citizen one minute and a PM of a failed state the next, to be unfamiliar with the political atmosphere and the associations made between the incompents and the UN/AMISOM/Ugandan govnt? It was one man (an inexperienced one at that) against the TFG and Uganda govnt.
  20. Saxib it rains 2 or 3 times a year. Usually in Dec and Jan. There was hardly any rain last winter. There plenty of striking images though eg old 1960s houses sitting under gleeming skyscrapers. If you get the right shot it would win awards I tell ya.
