Might I thank those who've voted for me? Thank you.

Che- I see your point. It's not the right road for the walk-weary. But riddles themselves contain rudimentary truths, don't you think? The conventional road is but the blue print of today's high way. And a shroud of complexity over simplicity brought down civilizations and nations. Ours, included. Lol@fun

[my opinion]: If it enlightens the mind, it's good. If it automates it, it's not.To know, you must. It's the whole point. It was a good thing for me but not for the obvious reasons.

^Will do that Insha-Allah. Give a brother a little time. You are right, it's only fair.

^Yaa tahay baad weeydiisey, nooh. Which is why I was being subtle about the person-concerned's ID. Now would you ask a woman yaa tahay? Remember the proverb. Far WAAWEYN miyaan wax kuugu qoraa hadaba?

^Definately a female. Evidence? Exhibition 1: 'Eid Mubarak ladies and germs' I rest my case on the gender identification. PS: Ofcourse the evidence is circumstancial. Welcome windstruck.

Of all your thoughts that you could contrast with being Somali is the thought of being or not being gay? How interesting is that? Tell us more about this thought of yours then, Mr. Somalia. I have to admit, it's really indefensible that I attacked your topic, but this phenomena isn't exclusive to your thread. Look around SOL and you'll find plenty textual fagotry. Lol. Attack on my thread is the last thing that comes to mind, Mr. Somalia. The important thing is what one chooses to see or not to see in a written text. Apparently that is called tinted lense theory. And the outlook of the lense varies. In my lense, which I call honesty, I see a beautiful dream on the horizon. Change lenses will you? Perhaps the specsavers could help. To the other participants, I am glad to read your contributions. I can only appreciate your ideas with earnestness. Thanks.

^Absolutely, UZTAAD. Eid Mubarak to you. Welcome to Somalia Online.

First, welcome Ducaysane. Why do you think the thread is sad?

Brilliant points. But how do you think this plan should be implimented? Such as the point from which to start such a long term project. First step, more like.

^Garoodi, how is your post helping an issue or an argument between Puntlanders rather than antagonize? It's not helpful.

Here's the idea behind this topic. Let's consider this consider this week Somali good will week AND in all our sincerity, take a break from all other types of political discussion, and concerntrate our efforts to contributing the most honest ideas we could think of. Any idea is good. All your contributions are honourable so long as you sincere post them to share with fellow Somalis in how to turn a bad situation into a good one. REMEMBER - not to argue or oppose ourselves or let anything come between our sincerity and good will. Please

^Sounds like a brilliant vision, sxb. The very vision some of us in SOL have been advocating for for some years now. Vision is good but now let us talk about the practical implimentation of this beautiful vision. What are your suggestions? PS: I think you've mentioned the gist of what's the problem with Somali politics. [edit] I will assess the sort of resources (mostly economic and expertise) Somalis have currently, and I have been working on ideas that could turn a pessimistic situation into a positive one. All it needs now is a sound strategic and cordinating thinking. Questions: compared to 1991, how many Somali graduates and entrepreneurs do Somalis have? More than when there was a central government or less?
-
I usually don't sit for it. If I am patient enough I quietly slip away but if when I don't...no need to mention it. It's what a political degree does to you. So I avoid such beginner talks/debates.

^So who's winning Adam? Mind you I voted for you and another gent. And two of my favourite ladies. I know someone who say waa heblaayo and heblaayo but I am not talking.

^Thanks. Interesting to read it again, as always.

^Garmaqaate, my fellow North-easterner, welcome to SOL forum. Now, if you will please, I am interested to learn a few things about the solitary soul that can 'form a new'. Would you be kind enough to elaborate on your quote below? Fadlan. But, the "solitary soul" as you wonderfully put must continue to strive to "form a new". PS: If you are in some way as solitary as the two of us (I and seeker), then it seems here (this topic) unites us.

Just one thing: shop venders throwing sweets into a crowd of kids and watching them fight over it. The fun was in the hussle.

Some people just have a complex about kirishow mirish. Not that I eat it. But...

Ufayn, home. I should find my way there sooner than later, Insha-Allaah. Just to breathe the air.

Five years of life's intensive phd course, and the clocking far too many hours in painstaking thought by thought, sense by sense probing into the stuff of 'meaning', of body-mind-states, of matter and very darkner subjects, I now find a mystery in the origination of the original emotional impulse of a particular human heart (that of females), and it's my possible connection to a divine ordance, which has an unbreakable affinity with mercy upon creation. It's strong connection to the spiritually fine-tuned and pure new born heart of babies (sometimes, to the dispair of male hearts), this I now find to be another mystery. I hear a child's laughter with new ears and a receptive heart - and their's is not just a laugh anymore but an echo from a divine sphere, a place I hope to wander into in the near future.
